Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I like your thinking Jer ;) By the way, in my opinion, butter is not essential to a chip butty. Fish and chip shops always use marg

Jack, what are your favorite Yorkshire breweries?
There are a lot of breweries right here in Leeds, where I live Jeff, of which my favourites are probably Northern Monk, Kirkstall, and North. I like Magic Rock in Huddersfield, Saltaire in Shipley, Abbeydale and Kelham Island in Sheffield, and Brass Castle in Malton, but there really are a great many small breweries here these days :)

Edit - Thought I'd add a pic! ;)

Nice photo Jack. There are around 14 or 15 craft breweries here in the Wilmington, NC area that I know. My favorite is Broomtail Brewery. Owned and operated by a close friend of mine, Mr Barry Owings. This one is a Dopplebock named "Red Roan". Red style lager, made with North Carolina malted grains fermented with European Lager yeasts.

Beginning of the week. Hope all you Guardians are having a great Monday. Got my trusty HHB in the pocket.

Thanks buddy  I don't think there's ever been a better time for beer-drinkers :) I hope I come across some of your friend's brews here sometime  Your Hartshead Barlow is looking good, hope your week goes well

That one looks like my kind of beer Jack. I Rey like the unfiltered beers as long as they aren’t too bitter. Does it have an IBU rating?

I had to look that one up Todd! :D I can't find a rating, but that one isn't bitter:thumbsup:

I really like that IBU rating system. It has save me a bunch of money over the years I’ve been exploring craft beers. I’ve learned that, depending on the style of beer, 40 IBUs is my limit. I don’t know how many IPAs I’ve added to barbecue sauce because they were just too bitter for me or most of my buddies. 😄

LOL! :D

Just got my ultralight/compact carbon fiber fishing rod from Amazon

I am a fish "hitman" (hitfish rather) on a mission now :D

Oh, ... and I also helped sent Jeff Bezos into space 😂

My faithful ebony lamb is raring to go :cool:

That looks cool Dan  When I was a lad, and carbon-fibre fishing rods first started appearing, they cost an arm and a leg! I miss all the fishing tackle shops that were virtually on every street corner back :( Wishing you tight lines my friend :)

The way things have been these past 18 months, I think I paid for a chunk of that space-vacation myself! :D

I’ve kicked in my share as well. 👍 I wonder how long it will be before you can buy a ticket on the big river. 😊

Mom made Yorkshire pudding in a rectangular cake pan, usually glass. Great Aunt Edie used these broad shallow cup pans, and we probably bought these in London in 1967 and had them mailed home. That's how it was done back then.
Mom used these some, but I think in general it was less puff for more fuss.

Happy Monday Guardians!

Went hiking today. Around 15km out to a waterfall then up to a glacier and back. Was a fair bit of smoke from the fires, but while it hampered the views, it didn't hamper the fun ;)

Some lambsfoot glamour shots ;)

And some nature glamour shots (will add more in Dan's thread)

Sadly, the glacier has receded quite a bit. Used to come down to where we were standing.
