Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Still haven't got the electric lighting fixed in my kitchen a week on (First World country 'n' all that), supposed to be Friday now o_O

Still, life is schweet - just listening to a new 5 album Soul collection, pie's in the oven, and I've got my evening's entertainment worked out for me and my trusty Lambsfoot ;) :D

Great pic Dylan, hope you're well and settling into your new place OK :)

Thank you, Jack. We are getting there, slowly, but surely.

I have this one with me today.

- ha! So my electric lighting you can see hanging there work just fine :D However, can't say much for the rest of my kitchen just now.
The wall on the left will go altogether............and in around another 9 weeks, we should be cookin' on gas

Here, though........is my Lambsfoot that has at least brought a smile today...

Looks like you have a fair bit of work on there Paul o_O I'm not sure what's happening with mine - old house, built by Sir Walter Scott - probably got Ivanhoe in to do the electrics! :D

Life is always better with a Lambsfoot! ;)

All beauties, and I gotta say, the more I see a f those Senator Lambsfoots, the more I am digging them. Are they also made in wood covers?

Wright's do them in ironwood and snakewood I believe

Looking good my friend :)

Somehow this Stag bigun' has finagled its way back in my pocket today! ;) Y'all have a good day! :D

Great to catch up on the last few pages. The pics in this thread just keep getting better and better.:)
That bakery looks fantastic! Thank you for the link. I'm not sure what I would do if I developed an allergy to bread. It's many unique styles and flavors are something I genuinely enjoy. Also glad to hear that your cough is doing a bit better and I hope the docs can find the right meds and square you away.

Being unable to find the variety of hot peppers I desire it was time to take matters into my own hands and start a new and upgraded pepper section. All of these seeds were gifted to me by my wife's stepdad, who is responsible for the salsas posted here on occasion. His love of hot peppers mirrors our love of knives.

Also used the Lambsfoot to harvest a nice batch of Padrón peppers this afternoon.

Good to see you back, my friend. I've been thoroughly enjoying the salsa recipes you sent.:cool:

That well chosen seed collection looks like a great addition to your garden. I'd be interested to hear how that white habanero tastes.

Here's another pre-prep pic, taken before rough slicing the ingredients for another fresh chilli pepper sauce with my lefty Lambsfoot, to make it easier on the blender.

This batch features the fearsome Carolina Reaper in addition to a few other standbys. It's probably a good idea to glove up when handling this one. I didn't, and my hands are still quite warm, about six hours later!:D

Thanks mate, going well, a bit snowed under at work. Nice to see that Needham, and that you're enjoying some spring weather finally.:)

Weather's starting to turn a bit colder (relatively) here, so I spent the morning doing a little pruning, trying to coax a late harvest from the chilli plants.

Yes, the Reaper's certainly a chilli that needs to be built up to, before sampling it, LOL.:D:eek:

Fantastic pictures Chin. Thanks for the warm welcome back. I'm not entirely out of the woods yet but this week has been better due to good time managent.

I've still not had the time to track down everything for the Carribean sauce, which pains me but the sewing of the new pepper seeds was a nice distraction. I will absolutely let you know how the white habanero turns out.

We once had a pepper challenge at work. An entire pepper was eaten then five minutes elapsed. If the participants chose not to bow out the next round was started. The progression was jalapeno, habanero, Carolina Reaper, and finally a concentrated capsaicin oil. I'm not to proud to admit that the Carolina Reaper was my final round.

Took advantage of some free time yesterday and took a little walk.
