Looks like you've broken into the Wright plant again, Jack!! Nice spy shots!!
Flamenco???
Ahhh, Youth!!![]()
Jack, any idea how many a day they produce?
Thanks for showing us that one again DonnHopefully Greg's index will assist you in finding the other two-blade posts
How is the pull on that one my friend? I was talking to @ADEE yesterday, and we was relating how a friend had recently bought one, but couldn't even get the pen blade open!

Yesterday, I headed over to the nearby town of Huddersfield, for a May Day meeting with @ADEE. I usually also meet up with @scruffuk, but he's currently holidaying in Derbyshire.
Our visit to the weekly second-hand market turned up absolutely nothing of interest, so after a cuppa, we headed out of town, and had a walk up the canal. We soon spotted a heron.

We were both carrying AW Lambsfoot knives with ebony covers, so they posed for picsThe mark side of ADEE's knife has an attractive black/brown mottled appearance. He likes to maintain a polished blade.

I had wanted to visit an antiques centre in the nearby town of Slaithwaite (pronounced 'Slowit'), where we also struck out, but the weather was good, and we had a great lunch at a co-operative bakery. ADEE had beans on toast, which looked incredible

I went for the chickpea stew, which came with a pile of toasted sourdough

We had coffee out by the canal, and shared a piece of fruit-cake.

We usually go for a pint or two, but I had to catch my train back to Leeds.

I did, however, meet up with some friends for a good few pints upon my return thoughHope everyone else had a good May Day

Apologies Jack, had a trawl out to Harrogate yesterday to my opticians.
You know what, the pull is perfectA little harder on the pen blade but I won't need block and tackle to open it.
I bought it from Woodalls in Malton.
That looks like a cracking day! Now I'm hungry![]()
I hope you didn't get stung too much Donn, I went to Boots last week, and I felt like I had been mugged! That's good to hear
I was talking about Woodalls to @ADEE just the other day, he said he had also called in. Is Ivan still there?

It was, you'd have enjoyed it I think. We ate at 'The Handmade Bakery', it only does veggie stuff, but the food was really nice, good value, and the bread is excellent
Carrying this ebony again today

Sorry to hear about Boots.Unfortunately I've got funny eyes so go to a specialist private optician in Harrogate. I don't mind spending the money as I'm absolutely confident I'll get the best service from them
And I've heard of the Handmade Bakery but can't think why. Maybe on Sheffieldforum?? I'll have to hunt it down over the summer.

Is Ivan the tall chap in his 50's with hands like tractor buckets and who some think has
a really brusque manner? If so, yip he's still there. I like the chap, he's a real character and a font of knowledge on all sorts of farming and fur 'n feather stuff
He has a range of really nice pocket knives in there. Both A.Wright but some stamped "Woodalls". I completely forgot to ask who makes them for him. I'm assuming A.Wright but maybe not?
Just watching Tour de Yorkshire today so thought I'd do a comparison shot.

Thanks! I think Andrew did a great job, but I'm sure I'll appreciate it even better when it arrives back from him. I'm hoping that I qualify for guardianship as well, but I'll leave that up to the group, of course. Thanks JoshuaVery cool
