Very nice crisp photo my friend. Damp and foggy to start too but probably a lot warmer than where you are, Jack.Interesting photo James![]()
It sounds like an interesting place Jer. The changes in these small villages are certainly nothing new, but currently I am seeing a lot of small towns and villages being altered out of all recognition, due to relaxations in the planning laws here. Typically, developers will build huge housing estates on what was once classed as 'Green-Belt' land, adjacent to the existing village, which more than doubles the population, and alters the nature of it completely. Then they have to build new roads to accommodate the extra traffic, and those rich folks want to have their groceries delivered from an out-of-town supermarket, rather than go to the local shop. The places worst affected have generally been on rural train-lines within an hour of large cities, but since so many people work from home these days, even those once-tranquil villages, in the middle of nowhere, are no longer safe
Good morning Guardians, looks like you folks have been having some funAnother foggy, damp day here, and I'm going to try and do some housework, and get everything tidied up for Christmas. The way things are going here, maybe I won't be able to have any guests round though
I hope everyone is doing OK, and having a good weekend, and that you stay safe and well. Enjoy your Sunday Guardians

Very cool buddyGood Morning Guardians
I'm drinking my morning coffee, visiting with all my friends on the Porch, and admiring the new Christmas ornament my kids bought me.
Later on I think I'll watch some football, have some lunch, take a nap, then watch some more football, and then try to find some time to relax.

That looks tasty, just the sort of dish to have with Henderson's

I couldn't get it to balance across the top.
Double-sided tape!
Next time.
I actually have some in the basement. All I wanted was acid free tape, but the framing department at Hobby Lobby had never heard of it and sent me to crafting for double-sided "scrap-booking" tape.I might start and carry some of that myself! That's a really interesting pic though

I've just made a flying visit to town, to pick up a prescription, and a little shopping. Snaffled a Cornish Pasty while I was there![]()
Oh blimey Jer, that sounds like it could be quite restrictive. I used to know someone who was vegan and gluten free, she had a really serious allergy to gluten, and could get ill really easily. My mate's youngest also has a lot of allergies, and doesn't seem to be growing out of them. He is vegan, but has a serious nut allergy. He is a happy little soul thoughI actually have some in the basement. All I wanted was acid free tape, but the framing department at Hobby Lobby had never heard of it and sent me to crafting for double-sided "scrap-booking" tape.
Thank you. Last year I got a hankering for an advent wreath that even I couldn't burn anything down with. This is a wreath if you continue the ends until they meet in "'the antipathies, I think.' Poor Alice...". Or China.
And pasties! I might be having to go gluten free.
Worse things happen at sea. Like being ripped off your schooner and eaten by a Bahamian giant octopus.

What's next? Bean sprouts?
But one shouldn't complain. At least one would have been to the Bahamas.
