Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you, Jack. What first attracted me to the knife, besides the 6 Norfolk Street, etc., was its’ Coke Bottle Pattern.

Love the look of yours. Great looking weapon, to boot.
Yes, very interesting my friend

Thanks buddy, it's a wreck, no bone at all on the other side!
Glitchy system double post.
It's bad isn't it?! :(

Hey Guardians, check out this knife of Charlie waynorth waynorth 's, it has a blade shape that we see in the (pre-Lambsfoot) early 19th century. Very interesting find in my opinion

Saturday morning here, been away from the Guardians for a few days, thought i would check in to see if the loading/site issues have been resolved. Went straight to 522 Error Timed Out, all my connections have a green tick, big red cross on Host Error Problem. I know one thing, if i'm p----d off there must be plenty others. Won't be paying for a membership for this b------t.

Hey Leon, been wondering where you were, and if it was the state of the site accounting for your absence. I hope we're not going to lose people because of an inability to sort this %&@# out

I think I'm going to head up the road to Harrogate, and check out a couple of antique shops I haven't been in recently
Sounds fun, I like visiting antique stores myself. 🤠
Anything planned Guardians, I hope you have a good one?!
Going to watch my Niece's basketball game, tomorrow I'm going to do home chores mostly, and Sunday I'll watch the football games... Nothing too excited.

That's a fabulous Old Lamb. Don't see many like it. 🤠

I'm a Die-Hard, and even I've been frustrated and thinking about giving it a rest for a while, until they can figure it out. But I'll probably hang around, like i said... Die-hard. ;)

Yipee kay-yay John! :D
Thank you, John. As for BFs digital tribulations, it’s still better than an original AOL dialup. Not by much, mind you.
Yeah, not by much! ;)

Good morning Guardians, we have a storm here at the moment, Storm Malik, it's a British storm, not one of the terrifying events some of you poor folks have to contend with, but they're still promising winds of up to 80mph. It was blowing so hard at 4am, about 50mph I understand, I gave up trying to get back to sleep, and made a cup of tea. Still breezy now, but it seems to have quietened down a bit. Hoping the worst is past, as I don't want the double-decker bus blowing over, as it makes its way to Harrogate! ;) Have a good Saturday everyone :) Got my Hartshead Barlow back in my pocket

Beautiful photo of your great HHB Lambsfoot knife Jack. Really like how the rust colors and darker shades of the background compliment the colors of the stag covers.
Sort of thing I used to do a lot in ordinary times :)

Another fine photo Jack of your HHB. Your storm sounds horrid. Hope you don't suffer any damage. We have been getting some snow - something that rarely happens here where I live. I expect it all to be gone by later on this morning but who knows? Today I'll be having my Ebony in the pocket.

Good Morning Guardians
It's finally the weekend and I'm glad of it.
Going to catch up on a few yard chores and then go out shopping with my wife.
I'm getting excited about the house remodel, even though it's going to take almost a year to be complete.
My wife also agreed to let me buy a travel trailer so we have something to cook in while the kitchen is tore apart.
I've been wanting a trailer for a while now, mostly because my back doesn't like sleeping on the ground any more.
Lastly, we are going to put in an outside kitchen, complete with pellet smoker, gas grill, bar seating, and big screen TV.
That gives me a lot of exciting stuff to look forward to in the next year, so that should keep me going through another school year. 😁

Sorry for the lengthy update, here's my Lambsfoot for the day, same as yesterday, and the day before, and the day before, and...

Wow, that sounds incredibly exciting! I know you will keep us updated during project, can’t wait to see the pictures. Good luck. 👍
Cool picture, Todd. 🤠
Thanks buddy. 😊👍

Great to see your ebony 2018 Jer :)

Thank you for the kind words Bill :) It's certainly been a blowy day, and the wind has been cold too. Lots of big branches down, but nothing else, so far, where I am, thankfully. I expect a few folks have lost slates off their rooves. It's worse further north :(
Today I'll be having my Ebony in the pocket.

Magical photo my friend, that's a beautiful spot :) Strong showing for Ebony today :)
Welcome to my world.
My back doesn't let me sleep in much past 4:00 every day.
That's rotten John :(
Hope you are still able to get out to the antique stores, despite the weather.
Thanks buddy, I had a pretty good day despite the weather :)

62,000 still without power in Scotland Todd :( Thank you my friend, nice to see your Pere David Lamb :)

Good as ever my friend :)

Hope everyone is having a great day :) I called in for a coffee and a croissant in my local cafe, before catching the bus to Harrogate, which has to be one of the most scenic journeys in Yorkshire - spectacular countryside, deer, red kites, all sorts of other wildlife, a castle, and you get a great view from the top deck

My first call was the antique centre, where I picked up this old gas-fitters tool. I knew what it was because I was asked to research one for someone a few years back.

Orvis are closing down their UK clothing stores, so I called into the Harrogate branch, and picked up a comfortable bush shirt. I was going to buy a Barbour pullover, but they were less than half as thick as the one I bought from there a few years back :(

I was hoping to get an all-day breakfast somewhere, but Harrogate is a swanky place, and all the restaurants and eateries were packed anyway. I settled for a takeaway snack, and then called into my favourite Harrogate watering-hole for a pint, before returning home

May I suggest an Airstream? Nice morning, going fishing shot.
