Thank you very much Bill, that's a smashing pic of yours too
Interesting to see those air rifles. 30 years ago, I had a company called Jack Black Knives, and with the help of a company, who I think were called Torvac, I developed the heat-treatment for a particular Sheffield stainless steel. It was my project, but Torvac found it very interesting, and were really helpful. They told me that they had previously helped Theoben develop their technology, and that their particular type of vacuum-hardening was intrinsic to how the guns operate
It's Sir Walter Scott, (the Anti-Burns), I don't much care for Jer, even though the building of my house was one of his investments

I don't usually do much on Burn's Night, apart from drink some whisky, and maybe have haggis, neeps, and tatties

I do remember, about a decade ago now, having a memorable one, with my pal Ewan Maclennan, (to whom I gifted his first Burns - because Ewan is Scottish, and a bard, not because I'm mad on Burns), when we had a great feed, and drank dram after dram from my whisky library!
I'll take the first two!
Sometimes, we go out for curry, and have
Indian Burns night!
Yay!

Great pic of your No1 Lamb John
