I discovered a lot of new things, living in Notting Hill, then - doner kebabs, Jamaica patties, saveloys, and don't drink the beer in London! Thankfully, the beer is a lot better there now, and I can buy a Jamaica patty, or a kebab, at the bottom of my street

Thank you my friend, I think that the 'heart and pistol' mark is one of the coolest old Sheffield tang stamps, and that beautiful Lambsfoot matches the delicious-looking cake perfectly Great photo Harvey

Now you're talking. Our American friends would know them as " Hot Dogs ". Now most are mass produced, but when i was growing up nearly every butcher made their own with their own secret ingredients. A few still do, mainly in rural towns. I found a butcher a few years ago that still makes his own, and it was like going back to the old days, his were excellent..
