Sorry about your friend. Odds are in his favor that it won’t be severe. I wish him well. He’s one of the many unsung heros of this Pandemic. He said he'd do a second test before setting off, and as it turns out, the result was positive![]()
A plate of nice, as is your Barlow.

Lambfoot and breakfast (work fuel) before heading out
I discovered a lot of new things, living in Notting Hill, then - doner kebabs, Jamaica patties, saveloys, and don't drink the beer in London![Too late to insert quote, I guess,Jack Black . Re Jamaican patty]
I never heard of them before this morning. Good idea, though.

Thank you my friend, I think that the 'heart and pistol' mark is one of the coolest old Sheffield tang stamps, and that beautiful Lambsfoot matches the delicious-looking cake perfectly

What ever it is, it looks good.
Now you're talking. Our American friends would know them as " Hot Dogs ". Now most are mass produced, but when i was growing up nearly every butcher made their own with their own secret ingredients. A few still do, mainly in rural towns. I found a butcher a few years ago that still makes his own, and it was like going back to the old days, his were excellent.
Thanks Harvey.Thank you Jeremy. Some fine looking Père David markings on your new Lambfoot. Use it in good health.
