Once we rode an incline tramway in Chattanooga TN where we used to live in the late 1990's.
When we went back to visit some 10 years later brought back a plate souvenir
I flew above that area in my hang-glider a few times as well when conditions were favorable to make the trip from the launch site on the mountain some 15 miles downrange.

From time to time, I'm buying a new watch, a flashlight, a mobile phone, or something, and I go in search of opinions on reviews. This inevitably takes me to forums, which might be something like our own, but really aren't. I'm grateful for the info, but find myself struggling to fend off falling asleep. I think I just found rock-bottom though, when I went in search of info on quiet vacuum-cleaners! What kind of boring sod gets so excited about vacuum-cleaners that he buys new ones all the time, and posts barely coherent, and badly-filmed reviews on YouTube?! Mind numbing!

After a very busy week I was treated to the arrival of the latest issue of Adventure Journal in this afternoon's mail. Looking forward to to reading it and catching up on the Guardians thread this weekend.

Good morning Guardians, it's just after 7.00am here in Yorkshire, and it looks like the start of a reasonable day outside, though I know it will be cold. No hike for me though, as I have too many things I need to catch up with, particularly after taking a midweek day off. I hope everyone has a great weekend Charlie Lamb for me

Good morning Guardians. Saturday is starting of well - sunny but a little cool. 45 degrees F now but going up to the mid 60's. Some spectacular Azaleas and Iris (a couple Tulips snuck in there too). Decided to stick with my HHB today. in our neighbors yards.
