Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you, my friend.
The knife is doing all the work.
You're very modest John :)
Outstanding Lambfoot refurbishment, Jack. You might want to ponder further your invasion plans.🤯🙃
Thanks Harvey :) With the gun laws here, we might have to throw soccer balls at them! ;)

(I TRIED finding a family-friendly Bill Hicks clip! :D)
Good Morning Guardians
Fantastic pic! :D
Nice pic Pete, great angle
Messy... messy... messy...
Your Lamb has been hanging out with Lucy I think. ;)
 🤣
Good Day Guardians
It's nice to see that one :)

Thanks, Leon. :)
Your comment gives me the opportunity/obligation to show both sides of Union Jack, whom my wife and daughter picked out for me on a trip to York. The mark side has what I consider diagonal stripes in the grain, while the pile side has stripes parallel to the handle.

Mine is the same - diagonal on the mark side, parallel on the pile side.

Gentlemen, that is what gives your Lambs their unique character,:thumbsup::thumbsup:, that is also why i love rosewood and think it is under rated. Each piece has it's own character, some may be plainer than others, but i have never seen a piece of bad rosewood. 👌

Cool pic there buddy :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone's week got off to a good start :) Think I'm going to drop this @jsdistin Sheffield re-build in my pocket today :) Have a good one Guardians

Thanks Jack, very interesting picture. 😄👍
Good Morning Guardians
That’s a really cool photo Harvey, that Damascus looks great too. 😎👍

For those interested about a few of the technical details of our Lambsfoot blades just found some interesting stuff on Youtube. UK Bladeshow, is a bit too technical on some aspects for my brain to comprehend, but still very interesting. He is not selling or promoting products so i should not be contravening Bladeforum rules, but if i am will delete this post.

Some Lamb content.:)

EDIT- This will not be for everyone. This is about the making of different metal and iron content, and about the RC hardening. I enjoyed it, but i'm warped. 🤪

I did, but didn't see any content related to the Lambsfoot.
Sorry my fault. It is not specific to the Lambsfoot, it is about the different metals used in the manufacturing process, and there is a video on the hardness they are tempered to. As i said, is a bit technical, but as the Lambsfoot is carbon steel hardened to about 57-58 on the rockwell scale i found it interesting.

Thanks, Leon. :)

That's interesting Tyson, nice pics :) I'll dig out some pics of mine

These are my Rosewood Lambs:

However, I don't have too many pile side pics. Here's my Big 'Un:

The Rosewood on my Hartshead Barlow is more subtle in appearance, which is how I would have wanted it

I think that's very cool! 🤓 :thumbsup::cool:
The 2 kinds of stripes (diagonal and horizontal/vertical) are the main reason I named my rosewood lambsfoot Union Jack, since that flag also has stripes of both orientations.

I never realised that Gary
Having my afternoon cup of coffee on the back porch.
Good-looking pic John :)
Thanks Jack, very interesting picture. 😄👍
Thanks Todd
That looks like a good edge Leon
Try google, and type in UK Bladeshow, and see what comes up.
Feel free to edit a link into your post
Not possible.😂
No! 🤣

Good morning Guardians, halfway through another week already! I've had stuff to do at home these past few days, and it's the same today, but I'm supposed to be going out for a pint with a mate tonight :) Back with my Hartshead Barlow today

I had some friends round for Spag Bol last night. They left me a box of Bakewell Tarts. They're named for a small, twee, Derbyshire village named Tart - No, they're not, it's called Bakewell! But if you ask for a Bakewell Tart there, they'll shout at you, and tell you, "It's not a Bakewell Tart, it's a Bakewell PUDDING!" :D
