Yeah, wasn't even that good either, sausages were lukewarm, bun was pretty ordinary, cheap margarine on the bun (kind of weird), and a serving of ketchup. Sadly, you don't always get what you pay for :( I guess, the location, means that place has no competition, and it was full of posh folks. If I go there again, I think I'll just stick to having coffee :thumbsup:

Love this and it has inspired me to grab out my AC for the next rotation swap Jack!

Wow!! been an insanely busy time with Sue and I shifting again in a very short time frame- this time into our House that we bought - we had to find a place to rent before we shifted to Napier ( which was extremely difficult), then everything happened so quickly and we purchased our Home. Then Covid hit- and it gave me one hell of a hiding, and I have been dealing with complications post Covid ( as in the Lungs ) next minute I got a bad Flu because of the weaker Lung.
Hopefully - I can return to normal with me visiting Blade Forums!!

Good morning Guardians, I don't usually get a chance to sign in on Thursday mornings, as I leave early to go to the market. However, my mate rang me at 7am, to tell me he had had a mishap on the way to the market an hour before. He was driving his heavily-laden Landrover, when the hood became unlatched, flew off, he ran over it, blowing out a tire, and ended up swerving right across the road. Fortunately, as it was early, the road was little other traffic. He's had to abandon his plans to stand at the market today though. This has obviously put my own plans awry. I think I'm going to still go down for a bit, but I won't be staying for as long as usual. Have a good day Guardians :thumbsup:

Sorry to hear about the Land Rover mishap - hope your friend didn't get shook up too bad. Nice photo. I like that tweed background and the Smiths watch is a real classic; just like your HHB.

Thanks Bill, I got to Barber Brian's just as he was opening, but there were five people waiting for a pre-work haircut, so I had a coffee, and a sausage sandwich in the market. One of my friends, who has a stall, introduced me to a couple of knife collectors, who were in Leeds, as they had been to see a Diana Ross concert last night, and I ended up having a lengthy chat about Sheffield cutlers with them, which was very interesting. Then I went off to get my haircut, and did some grocery shopping :thumbsup:

Thanks John, I was concerned about him more yesterday, having received 25 consecutive calls, and 7 answer machine messages :eek: Turned out his penknife had got caught between the two halves of his archaic clamshell phone :rolleyes:
