Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you for that response, Jack. It was the plainess of the tang step that made me think it might be from an early production.
It could mean that Harvey, or that it was a knife that was sub-contracted to another cutler. I only have a few Christopher Johnson knives, but finding all of them would take me an hour. Most, if not all of them, have the classic CJ flag/Western Works stamp. It's a very nice knife

Start finding them.🤣 Seriosly just kidding, Thank you kindly, Jack🙏🏻. I hadn’t considered the sub contractor angle.
Have you tried doing a Google image search? Maybe you'll turn up some other tang stamps like that

Here's the only other stamp I've been able to find without the CJ flag, and it's from flatware. However, it's clearly an older font. and it's still more elaborate than the Lambsfoot stamp

Cheers Taylor :)
Spent the day visiting with my aunt and sitting by the beach.
Oh ya, and had an amazing brisket sammich, which I got to cut with my Lambsfoot.

Sounds like a wonderful day John, that scenery is spectacular, and - WOW! - what a great-looking sammich 😋:)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. Dull start to the day here, but since I have a bunch of stuff to do in the house today, I'm not too bothered. After the heat here this week, I think most folks are enjoying the cooler weather. Thought I'd carry my SamDamLamb today ;) Have a great Sunday Guardians
