Blimey mate, that's crazy!Sorry to hear about your back.Back pain is no fun. A few years back, I experienced what I thought was sciatica. After a week of pain in my lower back and leg, I went to see a chiropractor, which wasn’t much help. Two days later I went to the ER with a high fever and neck pain. After six hours and two spinal taps they sent me home and told me to take ibuprofen for the fever/pain.
It took ‘em a week (at which point I was finally starting to feel better) to call back and tell me I’d had West Nile Virus.
LOL!There are a few words that come to mind, and none of them are Porch-friendly.![]()
That sounds like a business opportunity in the making!What-A-Butty!!I have to agree with @r8shell, if you’re going to do a chip butty at Whataburger, you’ve got to go with Texas toast!
Cheers Dwight, that's a cool pic
I could eat that “1000 calorie hand-grenade. In 3 separate meals. That was gross at times (on different levels), but fascinating and educational. It turns out the 'battered chip butty' is old news, and in fact it originated in Leeds, in a place called Middleton, (known by the locals as 'Miggy'), about 18 months ago, when it made it into the national press. That's a 1000 calorie hand-grenade I might have to leave for another day!![]()

Those are fantastic Pete! Amazing.Texas was a sea bed a few years back. Pulled these fossils from a roadway project “debris” pile. View attachment 1883589View attachment 1883590
Gorgeous image Harvey. Charlie and Bill knocked it out of the park with those lambs.Great Lambfoot tutorial. You could and should write a book!
The media and Science are talking about drought everywhere.Good looking boots. Hope they do the trick. Also hoping your bad back still allows you to have some fun This weekend. Sounds like there’s a lot going on.
Always love this clean look, John.
A fine floral arrangement, Todd.
Good Morning Guardians

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone made it through the week, and that you have something to look forward to this weekend - apart from the prospect of a chip butty, and carrying a Lambsfoot of course! It rained here all night, and has only just stopped, with heavy rain forecast throughout the afternoon, which is going to scupper a lot of plans here. Some 'drought' eh?!
I'm carrying my Hartshead Barlow
Have a great day everyone

Bill it’s good to hear your feeling better. I too struggled with a cough after Covid. My doctor changed my blood pressure medicine and it helped. If you take blood pressure meds, talk to your doctor. If the one you take is an ACE inhibitor it can contribute to the cough.Hope your back is feeling a little better Jack and that you are having a great Yorkshire Day weekend. Alway nice to see your fabulous HHB.
