Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I have to make me a chip butty. I am going to thank the UK now. Thanks. I know I will like it. I will post a pic with my lambsfoot for sure. I kinda want to add bacon to it though. But not on my first butty. I think I saw that is a New Zealand thing.

Awesome video Jack! 😎👍
I'm glad they picked good weather to film it Todd! :D ;)
Good Morning Guardians. Enjoying the cool morning. A couple nice days and then it heats up again. View attachment 1884989
Sounds like a nice day buddy :) Cool pic too
Yay! Great stuff Pete, well done :)
I certainly hope that everything lines up in your favor and you're able to celebrate Yorkshire Day a little. 🤠🤞
Thanks John, I may have to moderate my ambitions, but I'm sure I can find something nice to do :)
I did my best. And it was tasty!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it Pete :)

Fantastic! :) I hope you enjoy it :) I was driving in Germany once, and we stopped at a trucker's stop to get a coffee. A couple of us ordered chips, and when they came there were bits of bacon sticking to them, simply because they had fried some bacon in the fryer previously! :D The vegetarian in our company was less impressed than the rest of us! 🤣 ;)

I went over to the nearby North Yorkshire town of Harrogate for a few hours earlier, and thought I'd share a few photos of the carnival there. It was dull and overcast, and very humid, but the rain didn't start until after the parade was over at least, and it was only very light for the first hour.

After watching the parade, and having a look round the park, I went for a pint and a burger...

The burger wasn't great, so I thought I'd better go elsewhere for coffee and cake ;) :D

Thanks again my friend :)
Good Morning Guardians

Didn’t have a roll, but did have a nice brioche hotdog bun. So here’s my American style chip butty. To my pleasant surprise, it was delish.

So cool! :D What great pics  :)
Have a great weekend Guardians!

Thanks Jack :)

While we were at the cabin this week, my Dad was telling us about an amazing sandwich he'd had recently. While he was describing it, I realized he was talking about a Chip Butty! Figured it was a strange coincidence, as it was right after you'd posted the announcement. Now we have to have a go this weekend :D

Thanks Mike, I thought so too, unfortunately, for the first 400 yards of the parade, there was some bloody idiot standing directly in front of the Lord Mayor, blocking the view - until I bellowed at him to get out of the way! :D

And then you were the bloody idiot standing in front! 🤣

Just joking, Jack. That looks like a wonderfully diverse parade, love it!

I just had my chip butty lunch, and I'm stuffed. Am I supposed to wait until Monday to post pictures?

LOL! :D No, I was in the crowd (the road takes a sharp left here)! This guy was just walking backwards, right in front of the mayor. I said he did it for 400 yards, but it could have been for a lot longer! She looked she was getting quite ticked off about it! :D

It's incredibly diverse for one of the most monocultural places in Yorkshire! The area where I lives has the oldest West Indian Carnival in Europe, and when I saw that Harrogate were advertising one, me and my friends had a good laugh about it. The West Indian dancers were actually brought in from where I live! :D

I don't know where they found the Australians! :D ;)
