Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a great weekendI was hoping that there was going to be an improvement with my back today, but it's worse than it was a couple of days ago
Been more than a month now
Hope your week gets off to a better start, and that it's a good one for you

Thank you my friend, it's getting there (I hope), just very slowly unfortunatelyThank you Jack.
Bummer your back is acting up today. Hope you can get some relief.
[anger][sorrow][fear]It's terrible here at the moment mate, there are people having strokes, who can't get an ambulance until the next day! And hundreds of people waiting overnight in ambulances because the hospitals are that busy, and under-staffed, they can't deal with anymore admissions. I am hoping to get a referral back to the hospital where I've been treated before, but heaven knows how long that will take. I'm hoping I can get a recommendation for a private osteopath or chiropractor, but think I need new x-rays first![]()
He sounds like your health care system, except you do get to see him.Having known my friend, the Tool Man, would be going to the cheapest of cheap supermarkets, I'd limited my request to 7 items (2 of which I actually got), as well as limiting my expectationsHowever, I know that supermarket do a surprisingly tasty apple turnover, and the small baked goods section is right next to the front entrance, and hard to miss. The Tool Man told me, "I got you some egg custards." This, despite the fact, that I have told him, numerous times, (because they are a favourite of his), most recently that morning, that I no longer enjoy egg custards.
I put them in the fridge, and they had the texture and taste of damp cardboard
I'm sure that my friend would be mortified - not by their rottenness, but by the fact he had actually purchased what was supposed to be a Portuguese tart, Pastel de Nata!
I'll be sure to let him know at some point

Sorry you back is still hurting Jack. It'll be fine... They are all really good kids and their idea of a party is playing board games, video games, Dungeons and Dragons type games, and feasting on snacks.LOL! Good luck John
