Sorry mate. It all sounds like Dante’s Inferno at the moment. Do what you can and believe it will all resolve. Sheesh! And lousy pizza, too. It's terrible here at the moment mate, there are people having strokes, who can't get an ambulance until the next day! And hundreds of people waiting overnight in ambulances because the hospitals are that busy, and under-staffed, they can't deal with anymore admissions. I am hoping to get a referral back to the hospital where I've been treated before, but heaven knows how long that will take. I'm hoping I can get a recommendation for a private osteopath or chiropractor, but think I need new x-rays first![]()
Such a nice look.Good Morning Guardians
It's a prep day today. I will be hiding in my office as my son has all his friends coming over for a "welcome back from tour" party.

Thanks Harvey, the whole country is in meltdownSorry mate. It all sounds like Dante’s Inferno at the moment. Do what you can and believe it will all resolve. Sheesh! And lousy pizza, too.![]()
That Lambsfoot is just amazing Harvey
Thank you Jack. Thanks Todd, no, it's definitely not one of his fortés!
Great pic Todd, you turned that one into a real beauty![]()
Thanks John.I keep forgetting that one is Stag. It turned out really beautiful.![]()
Thanks Harvey.Beautiful image Todd.
Right back at you Harvey.
When I do, I usually order from a place on the other side of town, great pizza, and while they're not cheap, they're half the price of the one I had today. Unfortunately, they take the rather quirky decision to go on holiday for the whole of August every yearOne of my favorite bars specialized in wood-fired pizzas. They didn't always have fully cooked crust or thoroughly melted cheese.

Thank you, Harvey.Such a nice look.
Amazing Lambsfoot, Harvey.
I'm betting the pizza would be better with pepperoni and sausage on it... maybe even some bacon.
I don't know, the actual base really wasn't very good, and extra toppings would have probably doubled the price!I'm betting the pizza would be better with pepperoni and sausage on it... maybe even some bacon.![]()
No Fun at all!! I hope you eventually shake this problem, Jack!!Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a great weekendI was hoping that there was going to be an improvement with my back today, but it's worse than it was a couple of days ago
Been more than a month now
Hope your week gets off to a better start, and that it's a good one for you

Thanks Charlie, it IS getting better, but has been very slow in doing so. It's so debilitating that it also leaves me feeling vulnerable, if I had booked a vacation, or instance, I would certainly have had to cancel it. I've suffered with my back since 1977, but it's definitely getting worse as I get olderNo Fun at all!! I hope you eventually shake this problem, Jack!!![]()
Health care is really under pressure all over the world!!It's terrible here at the moment mate, there are people having strokes, who can't get an ambulance until the next day! I didn't realise Charlie, but I guess the strains of the pandemic were global, as is the ageing population. Who can blame your granddaughter? Here, nurses have been underpaid for decades, so it is hardly surprising that fewer and fewer people choose to take it up, and since they're being squeezed like never before, record numbers have left, or are leavingHealth care is really under pressure all over the world!!
My oldest Granddaughter got her degree in nursing, specializing in pediatrics, but after a year of being pushed into desperate, general population double shifts, she quit, and went to work managing a contractor's office!! With a good raise!!![]()

Education is in the same boat. More and more are leaving the profession with all the current demands placed upon them. They've discovered that they can take their fancy degrees and earn more elsewhere without all the hassles. There are certain professions that this world needs; military, police, fire, medical, and educators... it's time they all got their respect and salaries they deserve... or they are just going to keep leaving in record numbers. Here, nurses have been underpaid for decades, so it is hardly surprising that fewer and fewer people choose to take it up, and since they're being squeezed like never before, record numbers have left, or are leaving
