Oh no! I hope it's OK today Greg Yeah, those guys would have probably taken half an hour to put it together, if that! Sometimes, you really need a third hand with some of that stuff - and a bit of experience goes a long way! I used to know a bloke who did removals, and he could just look at a wardrobe or sofa, and he knew exactly how to get it in through a doorway, whereas most of us would need several goes

Holidays kind of mess up my week, and I'm glad the shops here are open today, so I can go out, and get a bit of shopping. Still hobbling about with the sciatica unfortunately, and into week 9 now! Great looking bowl of chili Greg. We like to wait until the first night we sit around a fire, but we don’t always make it.

Long day packing and moving. Our first night in the new house will be Thursday. Slow and steady grinding. Hope everyone had a great day!

Got the bar cleaned up yesterday afternoon, the weather cooperated and the “dock crawl” was a blast. Good food, and drinks, maybe a little too many drinks. Didn’t take any pictures last night but here is our little dockside bar all ready for the “crawl”.

Today we’re packing my daughter’s car with some stuff she wants to take to her new apartment. My Lambsfoot it at the ready.

Good morning on this Labor Day. Mushy Monday here. Raining yesterday and pouring right now. Heading for our friends party this afternoon but I fear it's going to be an indoor event. I'll have my HHB, as usual, in my pocket to slice things up as needed. Recycled photo from Memorial Day events.

Thanks mate Maybe it is like that in Australia too? Here in Yorkshire, we usually spend our holidays sheltering from the rain, or huddled round a candle trying to keep warm!
