Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I was going to give you some grief but Jack beat me to it!
I'd expect no less from you two... just waiting for Harvey to pile on. :)

Enjoy that fabulous weather, my friend. 🤠

Thank you, Jack. :)

I was waiting for somebody to catch that. 🤣
You replied before I could get back here to edit it.
So, now I'm just going to leave it and call tomorrow Sunday, since it's a day off. ;)
I genuinely had to think about it for a minute John, been a funny week! o_O:D:thumbsup:
Growing up among this huge stand of California Redwoods was spectacular Jack, and on the other hand, it is difficult to imagine the profound effect war had on kids growing up in your country and other parts of the world.

Here is my current collection of Lambsfoot knives.

Amazing Dave :) Despite spending my early childhood playing on bomb-sites, with the damage of war, and the austerity it brought, all around me, it was only later in life that I appreciated the close proximity of WW2. As a child, I couldn't understand why the adults spent so much time talking about an event I thought of as ancient history! That's a very handsome flock :)
Not to bring the conversation back to olives but I like green olives on pizza. No one else in my family does, they don’t even want me to put them on half of the pizza. So if I want olives on my pizza, I have to get my own.
🤣
Green olives are definitely the best Todd! :D Hope we can share pizza sometime :)
Around here Labor Day is the last hurrah for most of the boats on our lake. It’s crazy, bigger than the 4th, even when the weather doesn’t cooperate, like this weekend. Our “dock crawl” is on rain or shine! 🤪
That's fascinating my friend :) Have a great time :)

Jack Black Jack Black I may be the bearer of bad news to start the week, 😂 😂 😂 only joking. But may have found a new rabbit warren for you to fall down, was looking at a video clip online about a sharpening stone i was interested in, the presenter mentioned a website in the UK, he is based in Scotland. I looked it up and my immediate thought was, how much is this going to cost me. 🤯🤯🤯🤣. The prices compared to over here are very competitive, and shipping is down right cheap compared to getting something from America. You may have heard of them already, Beaver Bushcraft & Leather, have a look and let me know what you think. Have a good week.

Hey Leon, I used to be a good customer of theirs, (in fact I've just been using one of their pocket strops), and I spent quite a bit of money with them. I decided to treat myself to a pricey leather belt pouch, designed to hold a 1oz tobacco tin (or an Altoids tin), with a ferro rod loop on the outside. I waited a long time for it, and was eventually told that they couldn't produce the pouch with the loop right then, as the co-owner had carpal tunnel syndrome, and did I want a pouch without it. I wished the guy a full recovery, and said that I didn't mind waiting until he could make it. Eventually, I received a pouch, but it was of different dimensions to the one I ordered, coming with an odd-looking square 1oz tobacco tin, which you just can't get here, rather than a rectangular one, and it won't hold a standard size tin. I contacted them, and all they said was "Oh, those are the old design 1oz tobacco tins." Now, I've been familiar with tobacco tins since I was a kid, and both the 1oz and 2oz ones have always been rectangular. I've seen square 1oz ones, but they were always extremely rare. I have searched and searched online for these tins, but can't get hold of them. I asked Beaver Bushcraft if they could supply a spare, as I wanted to swap different kits around, but didn't get a reply. I haven't bought anything from them since. They don't do that pouch anymore, and I think they just palmed me off with an old one. Bearing in mind how much it cost, I was very disappointed :(
