Thanks a lot John, when I went to pick up the parcel, it was a huge cardboard box too big to carry, so I opened it up with my Lambsfoot, and took out the contents, which made things easier :thumbsup: I would have called for something to eat, but I didn't want to walk around with a target on my back! :eek: 🤣 :thumbsup:

Thanks, I wiped them down with a solution of potasium permanganate a few times which darkened them quite a bit. I then lightly sanded them back with some 1200-1500 wet dry paper and then polished them. I then put a heavy coat of mineral oil on them and let that soak in for about an hour then gave then a lght coat of furniture wax.

Unfortunately, the nearest location was in the city centre. Thanks Harvey :D Beans on toast was what I fancied :) I might have got something to eat in town, but I didn't fancy walking around with a large, and quite heavy, archery target! :D :thumbsup:
