Thanks for sharing images from your journey, Bill. Stay safe.Good morning Guardians. Back home now and getting ready to batten down the hatches prior to the arrival of the latest hurricane. Latest reports have it only grazing us but we are still expecting a bunch of rain.
A few shots of Prague and of course my HHB. Glad to have my favorite knife in the pocket again.View attachment 1943325View attachment 1943326

This is why I remain quartered at “Waldens Pond.” Sorry your woes have to continue. That image of your Barlow is first rate, Jack.I wouldn't be surprised Dwight!
I've just had a frustrating experience trying to do a PCR test. Not many people bother here now, particularly since you have to pay for them. Covid advice (for those infected) is as vague as the stupid fat fool behind it, "If you can stay at home, stay at home...If you go out, try to wear a mask, if you can...Try to avoid vulnerable people, if you can..." I haven't had reason to take many tests, but found them less trouble than I expected. I was halfway through doing the first test when I noticed one of the items was missing, so I had to scrap it. That was the last test in the box, so I had to open a new one, and quickly discovered it was completely different, both the instructions, contents, and quality (supposed to be manufactured in London, but it's covered in Chinese writing). I swabbed again, but then realised that the pipette didn't contain enough liquid to do the test. Tried another, same. They're all like that. Probably put together for one of the numerous corrupt fly-by-night companies who made millions buying sub-standard test kits, and hospital supplies, that are now going into landfill. All 3 boxes are the same![]()
ACHOOO! Excellent!Good morning Guardians. Hope this photo doesn’t cause anyone to start sneezing.View attachment 1943419
Thanks Todd, apparently it isn't just me. I've got mate who's a mental health worker, and has to do a lot of tests, and he was saying that the pipettes, previously amply filled, have had so little liquid in them recently, that folks can't do the testsNice photo Jack. Sorry to hear about your frustration with the test kits, what a pain.

Sounds lovely SteveAfternoon Guardians ! Another beauty of a day here although we had the first frost on the roofs this morning, 34° F. It's since warmed up nicely to the upper 50's.

You think so Jer, it's not one I've heard before? I did Google search, but that just turned up falls CAUSING sciaticaThat sciatica down the stairs story is merely anecdotal. Somebody needs to do a study tracking multiple patients through multiple throwings down the stairs.
This pic is either an unused extra or it isn't:

More study is needed.
I had to drag Win out of bed for this snap shot Jack!![]()
