Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

This just dropped out of my mailbox not 20-minutes ago - a very thoughtful gift from Dan sf fanatic sf fanatic . It's a very very nice Ebony Standard Lambfoot knife. Fit and finish are great and the ebony is superb. It arrived in a very nice box with a wool, Scottish Plaid insert. This will make a great addition to my Lambfoot collection a picture of which I will post later when I can photograph an update of my Lambfoot flock.

Good on you Dan and congratulations Ed!

I do so love this lamb Harvey. Fantastic image and that is a beautiful slip from Jeremy.
Thank you Dwight.
Both knife and cover make for a splendid duo.
For me, one of the best things about this time of year, is that I get to wear my tweed cap again :)

That back yard looks like a great space for company and solitude, Jack.

What a generous gesture from sf fanatic sf fanatic . Your beautiful collection is even more so, Ed.

I got to go out on a Tall Ship cruise for a couple of hours.
The Hawaiian Chieftain came to Old Sacramento and offered cruises.
We sailed down the Delta and fired cannons, blanks of course... It was great fun.
What a pleasure that must have been.

Nice hat or bonnet as my Grandpa called it. I have it around here somewhere. I'll have to have a look for it.

Thanks Steve, that's cool that you still have your grandpa's bonnet  When I was young, no man would have gone out without one here :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well, and having a nice weekend. In contrast to the previous night, I slept like a log last night! Sad not to be able to see my pal Bod today, but I don't have anything else planned. I might make some stew later ;) Something wrong with my vision at the moment  Have a pleasant Sunday Guardians

Good morning Guardians. Couple of nice days after hurricane Ian. Went out yesterday and worked in the yard clearing some brush with the help of my Senator LF knife.

Hope you didn't have too much to clear up Bill. Nice-looking knife

I thought I'd have a sausage sammich, but when I saw the size of the rolls the supermarket had sent me, I thought I'd better have two! ;)

have they learned to play there yet?!
I always get so embarrassed when the NFL broadcasting crew goes to England.
They always talk with bad fake English accents, say inappropriate things, and show the bad side of Americans.

LOL! :D I'm sure nobody here is too offended :)

I had a girlfriend in the 70's whose American relatives, having seen TV reports of how nobody got enough to eat here, and were practically starving, would send them regular food parcels over. They kind of liked getting to try some different snack bars, candy, etc so they just said thanks, and had a laugh about it! :D It went on for years :D

Great start to the morning, Jack. :)
I'm having my morning coffee and watching American Football live from London.

Thanks for the tip John, I have the game on now but would have assuredly missed it without this note! 😎
