Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Like echoscout echoscout the snakewood lambfoot from Darren waverave waverave was in my mailbox today. Add in a forced day off due to the base I work on being essential personnel only and you have a recipe for a knife to go from a mailbox directly in my pocket early in the day. I must say the file work on the back spring is truly impressive. I’m extremely grateful for his generosity (thanks Darren) and can say that my lamb flock is complete, largely through the generosity of others.

Congrats and again hats off to waverave waverave !

I'm never out without a hat Jeff, I took my cap off in the market the other week for a bit, and I must have had half a dozen surprised-sounding people telling me they had thought I was bald! 😂

Red sky at night, shepherd's house on fire!

Looking good buddy :)

Thanks a lot David, about the same here, I hope you are feeling better soon my friend. I did enjoy getting some fresh air :)

Thank you Harvey :)

Great pics Harvey :) I have an elderly neighbour who was born in the Tower of London, her dad was a Beefeater

Thanks a lot Todd, that does make a big difference :)

Sorry to hear that mate :( Great pic of your Lambsfoot though :)

I know what you mean Pete, when my family was young, I used to sometimes go and hide in the bathroom for half an hour, just to get some peace and quiet! :D

It's great seeing a bit more of you Jeff :)

Thanks a lot Duncan, sorry that you had it so bad pal :( It was the coughing I was dreading most, as I have asthma, and have had a bad cough for 9 years now anyway. I was coughing a bit last night, but generally, that aspect of it hasn't been bad at all. I would have rather not caught it at all, but I have been lucky in terms of the symptoms my friend

Looks tasty! :)

Nice way to start yours Steve, with that gorgeous Charlie Lamb :)

Congratulations David, that's the 2019 Guardians Lambsfoot :) Here it is with some of the others

What a great day! :) I had 20 Lambsfoot knives made with Damascus blades in 2019, with 4 different designs, so there are only 4 other knives like that one

That would be me on the left there (but without the tiny mustache). 🤣

I have received another knife from Cosimo de Benedetto with my friend Jean-Marc Âchillepattada Âchillepattada acting as liaison. Thank you so much JM. This latest Cosimo barlow is as perfect as the first one. My oh my what talent this man has. Rwl34 with integral bolsters and scratted giraffe bone. Thank you Cosimo!View attachment 1948331View attachment 1948332View attachment 1948333

Fantastic! 😎 That one was my favorite from the group photo J-M posted in another thread. I love the scratted bone! Looks like it’s nice and thin behind the edge, and I always appreciate a substantial sharpening choil. Really nice Lambsfoot.

That’s funny, Jack. 🤣 I don’t leave the house without a hat on, either.

I had forgotten that you did a swayback Ironwood Damascus. That might be my favorite of that small run.:thumbsup:

Thank you Jack.
Good morning Guardians, it's nice to see all these new Lambsfoot arrivals, great to see such happy Guardians! :) I hope your week got off to a good start - even if you didn't get a new Lambsfoot in the mail! :D Still feeling weak here, but recovering :) I thought I'd treat myself to a Double Lambsfoot Day :) Have a good one Guardians

Dynamic duo, Jack. Continue your healing and have a good day.
Good morning Guardians. My son made this pencil holder when he was in Art during his 7th grade year. For me, I t’s an absolute treasure. 😊👍View attachment 1948740
The best kind of art, Todd.

Good Morning Guardians💂‍♀️

Good afternoon Guardians. Just got back from playing 18. Gorgeous day today - makes you feel good to be alive. Since my health issue I haven't been hitting the ball as far but that's ok because I'm content with my lack of talent.😁 Got my HHB in the pocket for the rest of whatever the day may bring.

I'm content with my lack of talent.
This reminds me of a story I heard when the US. Open was played at the Olympic Club I believe in the late nineties. The night before our mayor was at a dinner sitting at a table with Tiger Woods and a local political donor and golfer. During the entire dinner the donor complained to Tiger about how after spending a fortune on equipment and lessons he still couldn’t break 80. He finally asked Tiger what he thought his problem was. Tiger turned to him and told him that he had a LOFT problem. The donor asked what that meant and Tiger responded, “Lack of F-ing Talent” 😜

Thanks buddy, did you get one of those, I forget? The Ironwood always reminds me of Ron Half/Stop Half/Stop who had one :)

Someone once told me that was a sign of maturity! :D Glad you're enjoying yourself Bill, sounds like a great day :) Your Hartshead Barlow is looking good :)
This "L'il Un" was my first Lambfoot knife. It's on my desk as I'm rearranging one of my knife boxes.
