Those were some extra special knives Jack. Thank you so much my friend for your efforts.
Fantastic! šŸ˜Ž That one was my favorite from the group photo J-M posted in another thread. I love the scratted bone! Looks like it’s nice and thin behind the edge, and I always appreciate a substantial sharpening choil. Really nice Lambsfoot.
Thank you Barrett! I am stoked!
Good afternoon Guardians. Just got back from playing 18. Gorgeous day today - makes you feel good to be alive. Since my health issue I haven't been hitting the ball as far but that's ok because I'm content with my lack of talent.😁 Got my HHB in the pocket for the rest of whatever the day may bring.
It's great to see you doing so well Bill. Congrats on your wonderful European jaunt. Great beach pic the other day too!
This reminds me of a story I heard when the US. Open was played at the Olympic Club I believe in the late nineties. The night before our mayor was at a dinner sitting at a table with Tiger Woods and a local political donor and golfer. During the entire dinner the donor complained to Tiger about how after spending a fortune on equipment and lessons he still couldn’t break 80. He finally asked Tiger what he thought his problem was. Tiger turned to him and told him that he had a LOFT problem. The donor asked what that meant and Tiger responded, ā€œLack of F-ing Talentā€ 😜
That is hilarious Dan!
Evening outside with the pups and not even breaking a sweat. Priceless
Ain't it so Pete! Low in the 40's tonight. I will build a fire outside in the morning to go with coffee. Fantastic image my friend.

I'm not surprised in Minnesota Barrett! 😁

Funny thing is, I’ve never really found a style of winter hat that I like much, so I mostly just wear the same baseball-style cap (the ones I like are made by KAVU) all year, and use the hood on my coat when it gets really cold here.

Thanks buddy, did you get one of those, I forget? The Ironwood always reminds me of Ron Half/Stop who had one :)

No, I think at the time I couldn’t justify the cost. I sure do miss Ron, he was definitely a Guardian of the highest order. šŸ™‚

Here’s a photo I took a while back, I think for another thread. I may have posted it here as well, but I came across it today looking for something else in my Imgur account and figured it was worth a repost. Camouflaged Lambsfoot. šŸ˜‰

I know what you mean Barrett, I have a lot of hats that I don't wear! :D

I miss him too my friend :) I'm sure we're far from alone

That's a great pic Barrett! :D

Good morning Guardians, I still feel a bit 'weary', and congested, but hopefully I'm over the Covid now. Going to try to take it easy for the next week or so, and not do too much physically, but I should be able to get down to the market for a couple of hours tomorrow. Thanks for all the advice, support, and concern everyone, I'm very grateful :) I hope everyone is having a good week. Autumn has certainly arrived here, it's wet, windy, and colder. It doesn't seem long since I put my winter clothes away, and got my summer shirts out, a bit of a waste of time in retrospect  I'll be swapping them round again today, and doing a few other things in the house, maybe go out to the garden if it stops raining :) Have a good day Guardians

Hahaha. Thanks Jack. In my yesteryears I knew my way around a dig site. One of the neatest things I’ve ever seen was a spiral shell with a jaguar tooth nested inside it. Both had been cleanly drilled so it could be worn on a cord of some sort. Super cool stuff. Mayan preclassic location at least a hundred miles from the coast.

The stone representation above is the Aztec ā€œcalendar stoneā€ if I’m not mistaken.

Very interesting most of the people in mesoamerica drew from an early people, the Olmec.

Thanks Dwight. Europe was a blast. The beach photo was taken some time ago and I had forgotten about it. That was a terrific getogether with friends.
I decided to have a scone as a mid-morning snack, but it might end up being lunch šŸ˜‚

Good day Guardians! I’m carrying my lambsfoot on my birthday to celebrate. I’m toting last year’s Forum knife as well. Two outstanding patterns.
Happy Birthday Joshua! :) šŸŽ‰ I hope you have a lovely day :) It's always nice to see your AC
I've stared at this pic far longer than any other knife pic I'm come across this morning, Jack. ;)
I'm flattered my friend :) Here's the rest of them
