Appreciate it, my friend! You know, i wear a hat all summer for sun protection, since having basal cell carcinoma already once. But these flat caps make the hair over my ears flip out like silly wings, so I may have to get out the clippers and buzz around my ears before serious hat wearing season gets here!
I'm never out without a hat Jeff, I took my cap off in the market the other week for a bit, and I must have had half a dozen surprised-sounding people telling me they had thought I was bald!
Great shots, but remember the old saying, Red sky morning, sailors take warning!
Red sky at night, shepherd's house on fire!
Lamb on the rock wall at the end of my driveway this morning…

Have a fine day!
Looking good buddy
Sorry you're still not feeling good Jack. Looks like a good sandwich. I'm still weak and have a lot of congestion but better overall. Hope you enjoy the garden. Sometimes the garden is soothing to the soul.
Thanks a lot David, about the same here, I hope you are feeling better soon my friend. I did enjoy getting some fresh air
Rest and time, mate. That beautiful Barlow
Sorry. It will come back.
Thank you Harvey
Great pics Harvey

I have an elderly neighbour who was born in the Tower of London, her dad was a
Beefeater
Sorry to hear your still not well Jack, at least your sleeping well. I hope your appetite returns soon.
Thanks a lot Todd, that does make a big difference
Good morning Guardians. Well the Bucs laid an egg last night against the Chiefs, but I still love’em!

Sorry to hear that mate

Great pic of your Lambsfoot though
Thanks Jack. Driving in the morning is some of my favorite alone time.
I know what you mean Pete, when my family was young, I used to sometimes go and hide in the bathroom for half an hour, just to get some peace and quiet!
Originally, I was turned around and undernavigated when I wound up in the Guardians thread, but these things work out. I had been missing your fine photography, Harvey.
It's great seeing a bit more of you Jeff
Glad you are sleeping well Jack- that's a good sign
When Covid visited me, I couldn't sleep lying down, so propped my self up with lots of pillows so I dozed all night- otherwise I found it very hard to breath and would cough non stop - that was for what seemed like an eternity, when I started really sleeping again it was amazing, so really happy for you that you are sleeping.
Your Taste and smell will come back slowly over the next few weeks my friend, I am
so glad it didn't put you down worse and you end up in Hospital - that would be terrible.
Thanks a lot Duncan, sorry that you had it so bad pal

It was the coughing I was dreading most, as I have asthma, and have had a bad cough for 9 years now anyway. I was coughing a bit last night, but generally, that aspect of it hasn't been bad at all. I would have rather not caught it at all, but I have been lucky in terms of the symptoms my friend
After making the weekly pilgrimage to the grocery store, I enjoyed popcorn chicken from the deli for lunch.

Nice way to start yours Steve, with that gorgeous Charlie Lamb
Today I received a package in the mail from Darren. Inside was one of Jack's SFO's in DIW. I'm overwhelmed with Darren's generosity and cant thank Darren enough. I will cherish this knife and it will have a special and honored place in my little flock of Lambs!

Congratulations David, that's the 2019 Guardians Lambsfoot

Here it is with some of the others

the snakewood lambfoot from Darren
@waverave was in my mailbox today. Add in a forced day off due to the base I work on being essential personnel only and you have a recipe for a knife to go from a mailbox directly in my pocket early in the day. I must say the file work on the back spring is truly impressive. I’m extremely grateful for his generosity (thanks Darren) and can say that my lamb flock is complete, largely through the generosity of others.
What a great day!

I had 20 Lambsfoot knives made with Damascus blades in 2019, with 4 different designs, so there are only 4 other knives like that one
Have a great evening/night/morning/day all.
