A week or so ago, Jack Black
let me know that he had mailed some candy for the girls for Halloween. His package showed up today, full of all sort of goodies, including some elusive Curly Wurlies.
Nestled in among the sweets was a small, black pouch that felt suspiciously like it contained a knife.
Since I’m posting this here in the Guardians thread, I’m sure you can guess what kind of knife it was. It was a Lambsfoot, of course, but not just any Lambsfoot… it was one of Jack’s Damascus Lambsfoot SFOs from a few years ago.
For some inexplicable reason, I didn’t pick one of these up when Jack had them made, so I’m beyond excited and grateful to have this one! I didn’t have great light for photos today, but I did get a couple outside that show it off a bit better. I love the file-work and and coining on the backspring and liners!
Jack, I can’t thank you enough my friend. What a fantastic and generous gift!

Good to see my friend. I walk and gym every morning, sets you up for the day and you just feel better when done. Good to see a lot of the Guardians who go for hikes, fresh air and great scenery, helps clear the mind.
Good to see you up and about, hope your back keeps improving for you.
I fully understand where you are coming from. There has been stuff posted else where that is not in the spirit of things. I stated Yesterday, i have seen things this week around me that put things into perspective and relevance.

Just saw your post suggesting CC turn his PM off and have a spell. Great advice, just shows the character of the man, his love of cutlery and kindness to others to even take on the task. If it was up to me they would all be left in the lurch.
Same here mate! Charlie has covid, the last thing he needs is getting pestered endlessly by people who have taken so little prior interest in his knife, (because they don't post here), that they have no idea what pattern it is, what steel it is, what the covers are, or in fact anything about it, other than that it will be made by GEC
I particularly dislike it when members attack other members openly.
Complain about situations, that's fine... but leave the personal attacks outside.
And then the absolute greed and selfishness of some just amaze me.
It does me too, but then i think i have been around long enough so human behaviour should not surprize me. But the good deeds that are preformed here by many make up for the negative behaviour of some.
Yep, there have been some shenanigans going on but I'm not letting it get to me this year. I've found that Ebony generally puts me in a good frame of mind so, I've set this one out on my desk in front of my computer screen to keep me on a positive path.
Hey Dan, it's great to see you here buddy! Fab photos my friend, those chickadees have been missing your Lamb! I hope everything is going OK buddy, I've really enjoyed your boating adventures this year

I'm glad it made it Barrett I'm sorry I could fit more in the container, but after what happened with Hherder
's lad, when a rodent got into the box of candy I sent, I wanted to use a (hopefully) rodent-proof container! I used to love those caramel wafers as a boy! Glad you like the knife, I do think it's the best of the bunch
When I was sending some candy over a few months back, Barrett mentioned his daughter, Eleanor, had liked Curly Wurlies, but hadn't been able to find them in Minnesota. THey must have been re-branding or something, because I looked high and low, and couldn't find any. They're now back on the shelves, but in a much reduced size I have to say
Good morning Guardians, me and my pal had quite a lengthy pub crawl last night, though it was a shock to see how empty everywhere was on a Saturday night. I didn't get back home until the wee hours, so am not at my most sprightly today! I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, I wish I was out camping in the woods, with my daughter, like Todd It's been a few days since I last carried my Hartshead Barlow, so it's going in my pocket today Have a great Sunday Guardians

Thank you Jack, this weekend has been very good. Been doing a fair bit of yard cleaning up. My HHB has been very helpful and I plan to do a bit more later on today. Never have I seen Cadbury Curlyworly candy.
