Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Afternoon Guardians, been a busy day getting ready for the first hard freeze. I've been putting hoses away, turning off water and digging flowers out of their pots.

Rosie helped with the chores 👍

Going for my 2 3/4 year post-operation jaw cancer surgery check up tomorrow. Brings back the first 3 1/2 months after surgery that I was only fed by tube five times a day. As the tube ran through my nostril directly into my stomach I can't say it was lip smacking good but it kept me full most of the time.

You've been busy Steve 🙂 It's still not that cold here. Great pic of Rosie my friend 👍

Great photo. We are expecting to get a front later this afternoon. It’s 88 F outside at the moment. We really need some rain…

I hope all goes well !

Good to see you Greg. I always enjoy your images with the Republic of Texas flag flowing in the breeze.

Have a great Sunday all.
Oh BTW I bought this plumb hatchet at Goodwill for a fiver and brought it home. Cherri (she is amazing) went out to the woodshed, picked out a stick of hickory firewood and made this handle for it (and installed it). What a gal! Best cook in the South too. A couple of years ago I came home with a mechanical fuel pump for my 1983 CJ7. When I walked in the house I handed it to her (as a joke) and said "Baby you wanna go put this on the jeep?" She looked at it a minute and said "Yeah I think I'd like to try it." And she did - successfully. Did I say she's amazing?View attachment 1959746

Thank you kindly, Dwight. Nice pairing you’ve got going. Great score on the Plumb and super job on the hafting 😃👍

Looking forward to the improved blackwood headed this way 😉 🤙🏼

Hope everything goes smoothly, sir. Best,

Wonderful story, Dwight. Sounds like you both caught the brass ring.
Thank you Harvey. I certainly did pal.
Good Morning Guardians
Another incredible image of an incredible barlow.
Wow, that really is amazing Dwight :) Go Cherri! Great-looking hatchet too, and your Charlie Lamb of course
Thank you Jack.
The knife is outstanding, thank you again!
I am really happy for you Barrett. I think those are at the very top of the lambs. BTW does Scout's name have anything to do with the Scout of "To kill a mockingbird"?

Ed I am hoping you receive a good report tomorrow.

TXGatorbait TXGatorbait - Thanks Greg. I tried to quote you three times and it dropped it every time. I hope you receive the knife tomorrow my friend.
