You too Dan, thanks for that photo treat! 😊👍
Ha! Learn something new everyday. Now I can throw in “sod off” instead of constantly saying “go pound sand”. Thanks Jack

Thank you Harvey. :)
Fantastic :) Dwight is a real class act

Smashing pic of your Rosewood Hartshead Barlow Dwight
Thank you my friend for the kind words. :)
Happy Sunday, Guardians. Been out of pocket a bit. Enjoying sipping coffee and catching up on the thread. Ebony will be my companion. Good day to all. Best,

Good to see you Greg. I always enjoy your images with the Republic of Texas flag flowing in the breeze.

Have a great Sunday all.
Oh BTW I bought this plumb hatchet at Goodwill for a fiver and brought it home. Cherri (she is amazing) went out to the woodshed, picked out a stick of hickory firewood and made this handle for it (and installed it). What a gal! Best cook in the South too. A couple of years ago I came home with a mechanical fuel pump for my 1983 CJ7. When I walked in the house I handed it to her (as a joke) and said "Baby you wanna go put this on the jeep?" She looked at it a minute and said "Yeah I think I'd like to try it." And she did - successfully. Did I say she's amazing?63289023-649B-4C82-A8F5-0E1A1E343763_1_201_a.jpeg

Good morning Guardians, me and my pal had quite a lengthy pub crawl last night, though it was a shock to see how empty everywhere was on a Saturday night. I didn't get back home until the wee hours, so am not at my most sprightly today! :D I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, I wish I was out camping in the woods, with my daughter, like Todd :) It's been a few days since I last carried my Hartshead Barlow, so it's going in my pocket today :) Have a great Sunday Guardians

What’s considered “wee hours,” Jack.🤣 Glad you had a good time. Now get some rest.😂

Beautiful example, Harvey 👍
Thank you kindly.

Wonderful story, Dwight. Sounds like you both caught the brass ring.

Good Morning Guardians💂‍♀️

Haha, you know it, Jack 😉 have a great day, my friend 👍
You too buddy :D :)
Morning Guardians. Went to a wedding yesterday evening and actually enjoyed it. Starting the day off with the 19 and a cup of coffee.

Wow, that really is amazing Dwight :) Go Cherri! Great-looking hatchet too, and your Charlie Lamb of course :)

I got in around 2.00am, but I'm not sure what time I got to bed! WE only went to 3 pubs, but had 3 pints in each! :D
Good Morning Guardians💂‍♀️
Looking good Harvey :)

I'm glad it made it Barrett :) I'm sorry I could fit more in the container, but after what happened with herder 's lad, when a rodent got into the box of candy I sent, I wanted to use a (hopefully) rodent-proof container! I used to love those caramel wafers as a boy! :D Glad you like the knife, I do think it's the best of the bunch :)

You sent more than enough, Jack, really! And your rodent deterrent device worked perfectly. 😁 I was going to put everything back in the plastic container and photograph it that way, but I couldn’t get it all back in there. 🤣

The knife is outstanding, thank you again!:thumbsup:

I hope Eleanor enjoys them Barrett :)

She definitely will. I might sneak one or two for myself, as well. 🙂 The mint Aero bar was also a nice addition, as Eleanor has really been into mint chocolate things lately, and it was one of Julie’s favorites the times we visited. That said, the thing both Eleanor and Scout were most excited about when I opened the package were the chocolate coins. 😁

I couldn't fit in all I bought, so had to keep trying to fit in as much as I could :D I need to get another lunchbox! :D I can remember sending screened porch screened porch a knife in a soap container! 🤣

Beautiful pic my friend, I'm glad you like the knife :) Ron had one, and I couldn't resist getting one myself :)

I never buy candy for myself these days, but have always enjoyed mint Aero :) That's funny about the chocolate coins, I just saw them at the last minute! :D

Going for my 2 3/4 year post-operation jaw cancer surgery check up tomorrow. Brings back the first 3 1/2 months after surgery that I was only fed by tube five times a day. As the tube ran through my nostril directly into my stomach I can't say it was lip smacking good but it kept me full most of the time.

Good luck Ed 🤞👍

A week or so ago, Jack Black Jack Black let me know that he had mailed some candy for the girls for Halloween. His package showed up today, full of all sort of goodies, including some elusive Curly Wurlies. 😋

Nestled in among the sweets was a small, black pouch that felt suspiciously like it contained a knife. 🧐😁

Since I’m posting this here in the Guardians thread, I’m sure you can guess what kind of knife it was. 😉 It was a Lambsfoot, of course, but not just any Lambsfoot… it was one of Jack’s Damascus Lambsfoot SFOs from a few years ago.

For some inexplicable reason, I didn’t pick one of these up when Jack had them made, so I’m beyond excited and grateful to have this one! I didn’t have great light for photos today, but I did get a couple outside that show it off a bit better. I love the file-work and and coining on the backspring and liners!
