Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I'd go there more often, but every time I've been, the service has been TERRIBLE, worse than Fawlty Towers! :eek I don't think I've ever been without having gravy or a drink tipped down me

Well that’s less than ideal. 😳😁

What a great show! 🤣

Another confectionary item { Filling Extractor } thought up by the dental association.:eek::eek:

The equivalent here, quite an old fashioned generic, is peanut brittle, but liquorice toffee has cost me more dental work than anything else! :D

Those red peanut patties don't pose the same risk to your dental work as peanut brittle, toffee, caramel, etc. because the sugar is only heated to the soft ball stage, like fudge, although the texture is a bit different (I think because fudge is beaten as it cools and these aren’t).

I know I could buy them on Amazon, but I don’t need 12 of them, and I don’t really want to pay 3x or more what they would normally cost. 🙂 I’m content picking a couple up any time we’re back home in Arkansas.

My favorite in a similar sugary vein is Goo Goo Clusters

Those are good, too. There’s a similar candy bar made here in Minnesota that’s not bad:

…although I prefer their Salted Nut Roll:

The first time it happened, the waitress spilled an entire pint of Coke over me, and then told me there was a hand-dryer in the toilets upstairs! o_O

I think it's dated better than MPFC

I've had one mate, I thought you or Rachel sent me, but I'm afraid I can't remember for certain :) It was certainly a kind thought

Salted nut roll and the Nut Goodie are pretty delicious  Thanks for introducing me to all this good stuff! :D

Good Morning Guardians💂‍♀️
Beautiful imagery, as usual, Harvey 👍

Jack Black Jack Black Found these the other day in one of the local shops where i am at the moment. Not a big sweet eater but i do love British confectionary so had to get some. And some Yorkshire butter fudge, where did i find this, Aldi, have not tried it yet but i'm sure it will be superb.

Nice haul my friend 😋😊👍

Jack the weather has turned gorgeous here. High is around 68, no humidity. I’m very pleased. I’m thinking r8shell r8shell feels the same.
Ah, yes! I'm looking forward to the predicted low in the 40s tonight. It'll warm up some later in the week, but winter is on its way. (I sympathize with our Northern friends don't look forward to winter like I do, but Central Texas Winter is like a nice Pennsylvania Autumn.)😁

Not counting the occasional Snowpocalypse.

When I was young summer was my favorite. In middle age, I can’t get enough of our mild (mostly) winter
