Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Jack Black Jack Black Found these the other day in one of the local shops where i am at the moment. Not a big sweet eater but i do love British confectionary so had to get some. And some Yorkshire butter fudge, where did i find this, Aldi, have not tried it yet but i'm sure it will be superb.

The Butter Fudge had me at “lashings of butter.”
That’s a horn of plenty nice, Todd.

🤬🤣

Ah, yes! I'm looking forward to the predicted low in the 40s tonight. It'll warm up some later in the week, but winter is on its way. (I sympathize with our Northern friends don't look forward to winter like I do, but Central Texas Winter is like a nice Pennsylvania Autumn.)😁
Sounds nice Rachel, I hope you enjoy the cooler weather :)
Not counting the occasional Snowpocalypse.
When I was young summer was my favorite. In middle age, I can’t get enough of our mild (mostly) winter
You must have been a tough kid Pete! :D I do know, from living in hot climates, that you get used to the heat, to a large extent, but you certainly get some pretty hot summers my friend. I think I'd wilt! :D ;)
Nice photo Todd :)

I'll look forward to that :D

There used to be a company here called Thornton's, who made the most amazing fudge and toffee, and had shops in nearly every Yorkshire town (turns out they're still going, but just online) :) Back in the early to mid 80's, I was a youth-worker, and worked out of a community centre in Sheffield. We had a pensioner's group, who mainly played bingo, but would sometimes go on a trip somewhere. One time, they were going to visit the Thornton's plant in Sheffield, and an affable, but over-nourished teenager, (aged 15, Alan weighed getting on for 300 pounds, and I once had to carry him 2 miles, after he sprained his ankle on a camping trip), managed to tag along. They toured the factory, and before they left, were each presented with a 2lb box of Thornton's Special Toffee. Unfortunately, most of them wore dentures, and couldn't eat toffee, so Alan came back with so many boxes they were stacked up in front of his sticky face! About a year later, Alan started going to the pub, and I have never seen anyone who could drink a pint so fast, people bought him them just to see it! :D

Good morning Guardians, I hope your week is going well. I have a few things I need to do today, so I better get on with them! :D Carrying Big Rose today ;) Have a good one Guardians

Really great photo, Jack. All the colors complement your beautiful HHB.

Good morning Guardians. Busy day yesterday but very enjoyable at the same time culminating in a fine roasted pork loin that was served by our good friends the Mahoney's. Never got a chance to get on the computer and stay abreast of our forum. Another beautiful fall day here in NC and temperature iwent into the 40's last night. Cold snap from our friends up north.:) Today I'll have my HHB with me.

Thank you very much Bill, that's very kind of you :) That sounds like a great time with your friends, do you ever show folks your Hartshead Barlow? Have a lovely day today :)

Hope everyone is doing OK :) I got a few of my chores done, before heading into town, via Charlie's Cafe ;)

I had quite a bit to do in town, but nothing unpleasant, and I even got time for some spicy Vietnamese soup, (which I forgot to photograph). Later, I went to the Corn Exchange, one of Leeds' most impressive buildings, for a coffee and a slice of lemon drizzle cake :)

One of the things I had to collect in town was a new DAB radio. I remember having an FM radio years ago, which lasted around 20 years, and cost very little. In the past 15 years I've had 4 DAB radios, and none of them has been inexpensive  I know we're sometimes a bit behind with technology in this country, but I have to tell you we now have colour radio! :D ;)

Another wonderful tale from the past, as well as a great tour of the Corn Exchange, Jack. Not to mention all the delicious looking food. Or the trip to CC.

Thanks a lot Harvey :) Roberts are made in China now it seems, but seems decent. I have had them from Pure, Bush, and JVC previously. The UK-made Pure cost the most, about £150 (including rechargeable battery), and lasted 2 years before stopping working. When I contacted the company, they said it was "not economically viable" to repair, and offered to sell me another at a discount!

That's a beautiful Thomas Turner my friend, and an equally beautiful photo :) You are such an artist :)

Pretty tasty with some tomato and chilli relish 😋
Sounds wonderful!

Amazing. Love the symmetry.

Hope everyone is enjoying the day. No lambsfoot today 😔 but I’ll get that corrected for tomorrow. Best,
