Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks Jack, it's always a shock the first freeze but you get used to it. It will be way colder than this before it's over, I've learned to embrace the winters here otherwise it would be miserable :)
A sensible approach Steve, no point fighting Mother Nature :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a great weekend, and that your week gets off to a good start today :) I'm beginning mine with my Hartshead Barlow ;)

Beautiful photo Jack. 😎👍
A day without Charlie’s Cafe is like a day without sunshine. May your day continue to be a sunny one, Jack.

Good Morning Guardians💂‍♀️
Love the color in this photo Harvey. 😎👍

Howdy Guardians! Been a minute since I've had any new lambsfoot content to post. Here's one wearing some really handsome stag from a Brazilian maker named Flavio Benini. Blade steel is 14C28N, which is pretty cool in the sea of CPM-154 that is typical of custom slip joints:

Thank you Todd.
Good afternoon/evening Guardians. Took this earlier today when I was in the teacher’s lounge. My picture looked funny with just my knife on an empty table, so I grabbed a mustard pack from the basket in the middle of the table. Still looks funny! 🤣View attachment 1961075
Your Lambfoot looks great in any setting, Todd. Mustard…Probably my favorite condiment of all time.
Lovely still life, lovely knife, Dwight.

I go back far enough to remember when you could smoke in the teachers lounge and not get any dirty looks. 🤷

Beautiful lamb Dwight, gorgeous photo. Did you cut those persimmons open to see if it’s a spoon inside? 🌨

Thanks Harvey. I like mustard also, especially the brown or spicy ones. 😉👍

I can go back far enough that if you DIDN'T smoke you got a funny look. o_Oo_Oo_O
I don’t remember those days as a teacher, but I remember smelling smoke coming from the lounge as a student. 🤣

I never buy candy for myself these days, but have always enjoyed mint Aero :)

I try not to, as well, but I do enjoy some every now and then. 😁

I am really happy for you Barrett. I think those are at the very top of the lambs. BTW does Scout's name have anything to do with the Scout of "To kill a mockingbird"?

Thanks, Dwight. They’re definitely special knives. Yep, we named her after the character from the book. 🙂

The expensive kind it seems!

Yikes! 😲😁 Here’s something we used to get as kids, which I believe originated in Texas. (This is an old photo. I haven’t had one in a couple years, as I can’t find them in Minnesota.)

I had to go into town for a brief business meeting, and to pick up a few things. I didn't have the appetite for Pieminister, but I should have lunch there soon ;)

I was looking at their menu the other day. Definitely seems worth a visit. 🙂

Good Morning Guardians💂‍♀️

That’s a curious Lambsfoot, Harvey. Nice photo!

Thank you very much Todd :)

LOL! :D Love it, certainly adds some colour! :D
Fabulous composition Dwight  :)

Feel free to post any OLD Lambsfoot content! :) Beautiful stag on that knife, congratulations, but it isn't a Lambsfoot, it's a Sheepsfoot. Does Flavio Benini sell it as a Lambsfoot?

I used to smoke in the classroom! :D Then there was the drinking! :D

You could barely see for smoke in the staff room at my school, and there was a dedicated smoker's room for older pupils (though most of us eschewed it) :D I had a French teacher who smoked Gauloises, and you could smell the guy 50 yards away! :D

Most of the teachers smoked at my school, but for the minority who didn't, the staff room was pretty toxic. I remember me and my mate lighting up in the street, in the school lunch hour, when we were 11, and the headmaster and deputy headmaster pulled up in a car, confiscated our fags, and promptly lit a couple up! 😒 25 yards from the school, there was a cigarette machine, which was referred to as 'The school cigarette machine'! o_O

Mmmm :) Cool pic Barrett

I'd go there more often, but every time I've been, the service has been TERRIBLE, worse than Fawlty Towers! :eek I don't think I've ever been without having gravy or a drink tipped down me

Good morning Guardians, hope everyone is doing well. I'm carrying something a bit different, and possibly unique today. Apart from a couple of pin cracks, it's well-made, but I've made no secret of my general dislike for this pattern. It's more the fact that Wright's insist on calling it a 'Senator', which I dislike, more than the pattern itself. I think it's a terrible example of the ignorance of contemporary Sheffield cutlers when it comes to knife patterns, (and much else besides), a Senator being a Penknife pattern. However, I also think the pattern itself shows a lack of imagination. I know others feel differently, and it's not a bad-looking knife. Have a good day Guardians
