A sensible approach Steve, no point fighting Mother NatureThanks Jack, it's always a shock the first freeze but you get used to it. It will be way colder than this before it's over, I've learned to embrace the winters here otherwise it would be miserable![]()
Glad you're enjoying it DavidAfternoon Guardians! Still packin the 19. It's a real pocket hawg. Which is fine with me. I really like this one a lot.

Your Lambfoot looks great in any setting, Todd. Mustard…Probably my favorite condiment of all time.Good afternoon/evening Guardians. Took this earlier today when I was in the teacher’s lounge. My picture looked funny with just my knife on an empty table, so I grabbed a mustard pack from the basket in the middle of the table. Still looks funny!View attachment 1961075
Lovely still life, lovely knife, Dwight.
I go back far enough to remember when you could smoke in the teachers lounge and not get any dirty looks.Good afternoon/evening Guardians. Took this earlier today when I was in the teacher’s lounge. That is some beautiful color on that Guardian, is that ebony?
Beautiful lamb Dwight, gorgeous photo. Did you cut those persimmons open to see if it’s a spoon inside? 🌨
Thanks Harvey. I like mustard also, especially the brown or spicy ones.Your Lambfoot looks great in any setting, Todd. Mustard…Probably my favorite condiment of all time.

I don’t remember those days as a teacher, but I remember smelling smoke coming from the lounge as a student.I can go back far enough that if you DIDN'T smoke you got a funny look.![]()
I never buy candy for myself these days, but have always enjoyed mint Aero![]()
I am really happy for you Barrett. I think those are at the very top of the lambs. BTW does Scout's name have anything to do with the Scout of "To kill a mockingbird"?
I had to go into town for a brief business meeting, and to pick up a few things. I didn't have the appetite for Pieminister, but I should have lunch there soon

Fabulous composition Dwight
Feel free to post any OLD Lambsfoot content!Howdy Guardians! Been a minute since I've had any new lambsfoot content to post. Here's one wearing some really handsome stag from a Brazilian maker named Flavio Benini. Blade steel is 14C28N, which is pretty cool in the sea of CPM-154 that is typical of custom slip joints:

I used to smoke in the classroom!I go back far enough to remember when you could smoke in the teachers lounge and not get any dirty looks.![]()
You could barely see for smoke in the staff room at my school, and there was a dedicated smoker's room for older pupils (though most of us eschewed it)I can go back far enough that if you DIDN'T smoke you got a funny look.![]()
Most of the teachers smoked at my school, but for the minority who didn't, the staff room was pretty toxic. I remember me and my mate lighting up in the street, in the school lunch hour, when we were 11, and the headmaster and deputy headmaster pulled up in a car, confiscated our fags, and promptly lit a couple up!I don’t remember those days as a teacher, but I remember smelling smoke coming from the lounge as a student.![]()
I try not to, as well, but I do enjoy some every now and then.![]()
MmmmYikes! Here’s something we used to get as kids, which I believe originated in Texas. (This is an old photo. I haven’t had one in a couple years, as I can’t find them in Minnesota.)

I'd go there more often, but every time I've been, the service has been TERRIBLE, worse than Fawlty Towers! :eek I don't think I've ever been without having gravy or a drink tipped down meI was looking at their menu the other day. Definitely seems worth a visit.![]()
