Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I couldnโ€™t put it off any more, and went back to my Lambsfoot from A.Wright&Son LTD Sheffield, so Iโ€™m back to pester you Guardians.

Got a few garden photos hereโ€ฆ
Sort of a good natured rebuttal to the idea that frost at night means the end of the garden. A lot of these plants hate hot weather, but love cold.AD1F1C06-3C6C-48F6-AFFC-6B82D015B230.jpeg3D03E7F2-9F24-4549-9E72-BC7A78E9636F.jpeg09776B33-9199-4407-B595-056AF1282189.jpegD4464213-DAC6-4AB7-B3AD-D2749BB26B4A.jpeg

You have to hang on to her through Monday. ๐Ÿค

Hope you were able to get it sorted, Jack. I got a haircut yesterday, but thankfully she did the whole thing. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sounds like an insult when you put it that way. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜‰

Iโ€™m glad you had a good day at the market, Jack. Nice pics!

How does Mrs. Tool Man feel about being referred to as Mrs. Tool Man? ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜

Nice old Lambsfoot, Steve.

Great outlook, Ed. ๐Ÿ™‚

After dropping Eleanor off at school, Scout and I went for donuts. (Sorry about the messy donut-mouth smile.) ๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿ˜€

I felt like I was channeling cigarrodog cigarrodog a bit with this Lambsfoot and apple fritter photo. ๐Ÿ™‚

We ran a few errands, then came home for Scoutโ€™s nap and a cup of builderโ€™s tea for me.

Scout is too cute :):thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Love the coffee cup ๐Ÿคฃ

Fabulous picture, Harvey. ๐Ÿค
Many thanks John.
Thatโ€™s a lovely wooden haft, John.
Another nice Lamb and pic!
Thank you kindly.
Evening Guardians. Got this large IXL two blade Lambsfoot with Bex covers in the mail today. Has half stops and a square pivot end. Which I didn't know square pivot end knives were still being built when this knife was made. Interesting knife and I'm glad to have it.

Excellent find David, the profile of the Lambsfoot blade is beautiful, and in great condition  Nice to see a 'clean and square joint'. do the covers feel hard like plastic, or slightly softer with a little more friction? The covers on this (much less attractive) Milner are 'compressed fibre', rather than Bexoid

It's always good to see you here Pete :) After your rotten week, I hope you have a great weekend :) Cool pic
Had to go home to get my mail so been offline for a few days, back where i am staying again for the next 3 weeks, all good. The Guardians look out for one another, great thing about this thread. โค๏ธ โค๏ธ โค๏ธ ๐Ÿ’ฏ

It's great to see you here Jeff, and your lovely Lambsfoot of course :) Great garden pics :)
Are we sure this time?
Sadly, yes :(

Good morning Guardians, it's cold, wet, and windy here, with heavy rain due to last all day, so my walking plans have had to be jettisoned, and if the rain keeps up, I might just do some housework  ๐Ÿคฃ I hope everyone is doing OK, and that you have something interesting or exciting planned, or just sitting there with your feet up :D Whatever you do Guardians, have a great weekend :)

We do the same thing. Of course I live about a half mile outside of town, in the country, and we never get any kids knocking on the door. But suprisingly the candy is usually gone by the next day. ๐Ÿคฃ
๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ

That is a real beauty David. Congrats on a fantastic find!

Have a great weekend all.

Sounds like a fun evening. ๐Ÿค
Thanks John, we had a nice time. ๐Ÿ˜Š
That sounds great Todd, I hope you have a lovely time :) Cool pic there my friend :) I was just thinking, last night, I haven't been to my local Mexican restaurant in ages. It is only a small place, with no outdoor seating, so was closed for most of 2020, and some of 2021. I'm glad they've survived :) I should visit soon
Sounds like my kinda place. ๐Ÿ‘
Good Morning Guardians๐Ÿ’‚โ€โ™€๏ธ
Beautiful photo Harvey. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘
Nice photo John, really make the grain pop.
๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘ (cha-ching!)
Wrote some property tax checks this morning and had some ebony covered knives out to brighten the mood.

Great photos Barrett. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘
I was planning to go out for a walk tomorrow, even packed my bag, but I just checked the weather forecast, and it looks like rain could be in all day :( We've had an unusually mild Autumn so far, but the Met Office reckon temperatures are set to drop to a more seasonal level next week  Hope everyone has finished their working week now, and that you're set for a good weekend :) @cudgee hasn't dropped in for a couple of days, so I hope he's having a good one

Think I'm going to hang onto Lucy for the weekend, but she's going back in her box for tonight ;)

Jack, I agree with John, Lucy has to stay out for Monday. Even if you put her away sheโ€™ll still find her way out! ๐Ÿคฃ
