Thank you, Jack.Lovely photo my friend
Thank you, Rufus.A very nice carry.
It's like he cut it on the left hand side, and just forgot to cut the other side! I doubled the cost of the haircut with a tip too!I'm annoyed about having to go back, I have a real simple haircut, and cut my own hair for 30 years. I only go to see Brian because I like the guy, and don't want him to go bust, but a half-blind barber is as useless as Old Don from Casino

Good afternoon Guardians, Ray, our pal, who is on the next stall, is on holiday this week, so I went down to the market even earlier than usual, to keep Tool Man company, and help him out. It was raining very heavily when I left though, and did so until mid afternoon. Consequently, it was pretty quiet in the market, and the kids are off school this week for half-term, which always makes thing worse. I door-stepped Barber Brian, but I'll be finding another barber, or going back to clipping it myselfI treated Tool Man to his favourite cake, which is sold in the market as "School Slice", maybe because it went out of the back door of a school kitchen!
Despite the weather, we had a good day, and I hung on long enough to say Hello to Mrs Tool Man, when she arrived around 3.30pm. It's their wedding anniversary today, so they're going out for a pub meal this evening
Hope everyone else has had a good day

Always comes around Halloween. Makes it easy to plan for. Gives me something to moan and groan about but in reality, it's nothing to complain about. Just proves I've go a spot in the world to call my own.![]()
Fabulous pictures, Barrett... Giving Harvey a run for his money.![]()

Thanks pal, I don't think she's aware of it!I’m glad you had a good day at the market, Jack. Nice pics!
How does Mrs. Tool Man feel about being referred to as Mrs. Tool Man?![]()
What a face of mischief! After dropping Eleanor off at school, Scout and I went for donuts. (Sorry about the messy donut-mouth smile.)

The "Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery" GIVEAWAY!! WINNER ANNOUNCED!!
I think we can all agree that photographs are one of the things that make the Porch so great. Sure, talking knives is fun, but deep down, what we all really want is to see those beautiful traditional knives. Warm stag, jigged bone, stamped bolsters, the polished blade of a new knife or the...www.bladeforums.com
