That is just cruel Jer, can't you just tell them that you are a long-time lurker?! I hope they relent and furnish you with a pasty or two brother I was once recruited to do a load of cooking for a free food event in Barcelona. There were about 20 of us, and we worked really hard. I was really hungry, but then had to leave to pick up a friend from the airport, and never got a bite to eat!

More stars in our heavenly crowns, may the Lord stiffen our heavenly necks to support the weight.

Good morning Guardians, it sounds like Angry Waiter has had a hard week I hope everyone else has fared better. I have worked for myself for the past 30 years, it's not always plain sailing, but I certainly have no regrets about it (these days I'm quietly coasting into semi-retirement) I've got a few things to do today, including doing some work, but I'm hoping I might be able to meet up with one of my pals, or at least get to Charlie's cafe Have a good day everyone, and enjoy carrying your Lambsfoot knives

I had to go into town for a few things, and was crossing the road when I spotted a delivery van for one of my favourite local small bakeries. The driver was just about to drop off some freshly-baked pies and sausage rolls at a nearby shop, so I went in and got one of each, a sausage roll for now, and a chicken pie for later

How lucky is that

Now I’m hungry, but that’s good because Mrs. Bigfish and I are going to our favorite Mexican restaurant tonight…highlight of my day. View attachment 1971576

Hard to believe it's almost November. Soon I'll be choosing a new calendar:

In 2023, you can reuse calendars from 1933, 1939, 1950, 1961, 1967, 1978, 1989, 1995, 2006 and 2017

Memories..I started surfing there in '67. Now I go for a walk now and then. Very nice knife.

Always comes around Halloween. Makes it easy to plan for. Gives me something to moan and groan about but in reality, it's nothing to complain about. Just proves I've go a spot in the world to call my own.
