Morning Guardians. Happy Thanksgiving! It's cloudy, cool and drizzling. Going over to moms for dinner. Just my mom, brother and I this year. Jack sorry you didnt get to go to the market today cause of your boiler problems. Hope you can get the boiler going and get the heat back on. I look foward to your weekly trip to the market. I really enjoy your report and pics of the market and Tool Man and the Teds. Ethan is riding with me today

Though Saturday I encountered a server (that's what they're called around here now; I prefer health-care heroes, or ministering angels) I haven't seen in months, and she remembered what I drink and what I don't eat.

Thanks David, I have missed the market, and been missed by what Tool Man tell me. The engineer arrived around 3.00pm, has ordered the parts, and is coming back in the morning to fit them. I still don't have any hot water, but he did leave me a couple of fan heaters. It sounds like you're going to have a lovely time today, and I'm glad Ethan can join in the fun :) :thumbsup:

Not always I'm afraid! :eek: I got Pete and Greg (who I associate with each other) confused the other month, and I have mixed up Dwight and Harvey more than once (dog avatars), while I called Duane, Dwight, in a PM the other day (senile dementia)! :rolleyes: :D That's amazing Jer, my old dentist's nurse, could remember the names of my kids, and would know it was me as soon as I called, even though I only visited a couple of times a year! :cool: :thumbsup:

LOL! :D I went into a pub, with a mate of mine, a year or so back. The landlord said to my mate, "Now then Bod, usual is it, Newcastle Brown?" He took a bottle out of the fridge, put it on the bar. My pal told me he hasn't been in that pub for 25 years! :eek: :D

I suspect the engineer won't be here until this afternoon, at the earliest, but I have to wait in just in case they come this morning. On top of that, I'm having PC issues, and didn't think I was going to be able to get online this morning. After 30 minutes, I eventually managed to get my PC to boot up. Maybe it's the cold, I'm not sure I'm firing on all cylinders myself! :rolleyes: :D ;) No cake sadly, but I do have plenty of food in the fridge, and I think I have some biscuits in the cupboard :D Have a great day Guardians :thumbsup:

Hope you're all having a great day US Guardians :) I'm hoping my boiler guy will be round here at 8.00am, so I'm going to have an early start, so that I can breakfast, and do a few other things before then. I have my MRI scan also, so I need to sort myself out for that, and make sure I'm not late. Going to carry my Charlie Lamb in the morning, but when I go to the hospital for the scan, I think I'll be leaving it at home. Been having some crossbow practice tonight :thumbsup:

Glad you will finally get your heat working again Jack. May the MRI lead to a resolution to your aches.
In my room while my wife is in the casino we are at on the New Jersey coast losing money.😁
