Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Glad you were finally able to get your scan.
Beautiful Charlie Lamb. Hope it brings you luck with your boiler and computer.
Thanks mate :) I'm unsure if I should turn off my PC tonight, in case it won't boot up in the morning! I think it's going to be Monday before I get a chance to fix it

I thought this a good Friday to go black Friday.
Nice choice Jer :)
Morning Guardians !

I had a great Thanksgiving with my Brother and his in-laws. My sausage stuffing went over well and was delicious if I don't say so myself. All the other food was wonderful as well. For desert there were five different pies, Pumpkin, Apple , Blueberry, Pecan and Pecan /Apple.

Went for a brisk walk on this frosty morning at the dog park, it's a beautiful sunny day and supposed to warm up to 48°F 😃

Ebony today

A beautifully crafted post, Jack. Read like a novel. Now wishing you a fine weekend.
Many thanks Harvey, I thought I was going to be offered an orange jump suit, but worse was to come, they only had pastel colours! :D
Good Morning Guardians💂‍♀️
Very cool photo my friend, grate background  :)
The knife is a treasure. I hope you are surrounded with heat now Jack.
Thank you Bob, I've just had to turn the thermostat down! :D It's not even 5.00pm, but I'm pretty worn out :D I've just lad some 'loaded' mac n cheese, and I've got my eye on a hot bath, a glass of red, and a movie ;) :D

Glad you can end your hectic schedule with some relaxation.

I can't tell but...do they make something like this in carbon steel with a bail? That seems remarkable useful in my opinion

Dang it the quote didn't come along with it...I was referring to this :p

If you go to post #1 in this thread, along with some other information there, you'll find a link to the index which covers the early (but significant part) of this thread. Most of the Lambsfoot pattern, shown in this thread, have carbon-steel blades. Examples with a bail are extremely rare. It's certainly an extremely useful pattern
Afternoon Guardians! Sounds like everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Jack glad the boiler is fixed. 19 is riding shotgun today.

Ok so I went to post #1 and did a little reading. I didn't even realize their was that much difference between a sheepsfoot and a lambfoot blade.
But consider me educated.

And I did see one or two with bails, but I can see where it's been commented on as being unusual when you find one.

Thanks for the info

I think there have only been a couple of them posted here :)

Hello Guardians, kicking around the house having fun with the family and putting Christmas lights up outside. It’s a little early than I usually do it but the weather is so nice I don’t want to be inside. My lamb has been in my pocket but hasn’t cut a thing all day…yet. 😎👍A47B213A-36B9-4DE9-A1BD-A31A4C01D988.jpeg
