Thank you, Jack.
That's the stuff of nightmares.
Totally!

About 15 years back, I had my entire hard-drive wiped, and the back-up too

Spent the next 9 months trying to recover what I could (about 70%)
Here’s hoping for a drama free week.

Thanks Todd, working hard, but getting quite a lot done
Good afternoon Guardians. Back to the grind.

See you're tightening your belt after Thanksgiving John!

I thought that was a steak, the lamb chops we get here are tiny!
Whew!!!!! I was 16 pages behind!

I'm glad to see all of the fine Thanksgiving gatherings that were had by you folks. Thank you for all of the well wishing to us Colonials from Guardians living abroad. We had 26 folks here Thanksgiving day and a good time was had by all. It takes Cherri and me several days to recuperate afterwards.

Plus Cherri is recovering from foot surgery. We had new friends spend the day with our family and four last-minute walk-ins.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. There's nothing better than counting one's blessings and they are too numerous to count.
Sounds like you were busy Dwight!

I hope Cherri is running around again soon
Great prose Jack. You really should consider writing for a living...
Thank you my friend, I'm thinking of it, but the pay is terrible!
You are a fine fellow my friend - one more blessing to count. Oh - and I'm glad you triumphed over the last week of boiler issues.
Thank you kindly good sir
So... our friend and master cutlery artisan Cosimo de Benedetto said he wanted to try his version of a Taylor's Eye Witness. Needless to say I was all in...
Just a smidgen under 4". 5/8" thick. Camel bone jigged by Cosimo himself. RWL34 martensitic stainless
It is a dream lambsfoot.

WOW!!!!

My first thought was 'AMAZING!' too, but since that has been almost mined out, I'll just say, 'ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!'

That really is beautifully done Dwight, what superb work

I feel blessed just to be able to see it
Good morning Guardians, I was up half the night, and up at 6am, but I don't mind when I'm writing about cutlery!

The weather is pretty miserable here this week, we have fog forecast every day!

Not quite the pea-souper of my childhood, but still not very nice. I have a package I have to wait in for, which works, as I have plenty to do at home anyway!

Thought I'd hang onto my Hartshead Barlow

Have a great day Guardians
