Good to see your Lambsfoot Jeff :) Many of us carry more than one knife, but this thread is just for the Lambsfoot please, otherwise folks start asking about the other knives displayed, and the discussion shifts to other patterns

Thanks Ron, that's a very nice thing to say my friend, terrific pic too :) I'm afraid my back is still very sore, but a little improved on yesterday I think. Hoping I can go out soon - and have a shave, as I'm starting to look like I've been sleeping on a bench! :D

Hope you have a great weekend pal :)

Got my lamby and a black beside it today.

Cool pic Joshua

I had a lunchtime hankering for a sausage-roll, but I'm still hobbling about, and there isn't a good bakery close to where I live anyway :( I did find some in the freezer though, not the finest, but I enjoyed a couple of them with some tomato and chilli sauce :)

LOL! Good haul David, and an excellent pic! :D

I realized I haven't posted in this thread for almost a week. :( Here are some (but by no means all) of the posts from the past week that caught my eye and/or deserved response from me.
LOL, love it! "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife nor his knife nor his ..." :p GT, another great pic of the Union Jack
Thanks, Dave. :)

Thanks Gary, yeah I’ll grab one in the morning. No doubt that this will be in pocket manaña. ;):D

And this is the Kim Kardashian of of knives.:p
Took me a while to figure out the KK reference, then I decided it must be related to my describing the swayback handle as having a "bulbous butt". :D

...
Thanks GT :D That's a great nautical pic of your Union Jack my friend, very attractive rosewood :)

Hope everyone is having a great weekend :) I have plenty of chores to do in and around the house today, so won't be travelling far, but have slipped these two in my pockets nonetheless ;) (Hoping to upload pics at some point!) Enjoy your Sunday Guardians :)

I just recently tried jalapeno spam for the first time, and pan fried it was absolutely delicious!
Sounds delectable, Jeff!:thumbsup::cool: (I'll try to ignore most of the other posts involving food.)

The trip originally started as my friend's bachlor party and we just kept the trip going. This was the 6th year. There are a ton of saloons and a brewery in town. ...
And the Red Dog, a populated saloon and restaurant.

A lot of rock bands in the late 60's and 70's would headlined at this small venue.
Thanks for the cool pics of your trip, Taylor!:cool::cool:

Lookin' good, GT. Both seem to be getting the look of a well used and loved pocket companion.
Thanks, FBC. :)

Dave, your red horn lambsfoot is quite striking on its own, that photo of the Guardians ebony Jack gave you is amazing with that purple geode background (or whatever it really is), and then a beautiful shot of your rosewood!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Really like the details revealed in the wood by this close-up shot, Joshua!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I don't understand why there isn't really Dave. My doctor is incredibly complacent, but I've had enough of it now. I'm going to demand he refers me to a specialist or submit a complaint. I have numerous back problems, including sciatica, a slipped disc, and spondylitis, and the last time I had any X-rays taken was 1977! It's over 20 years since I was last referred to a specialist, and that was by a different doctor. This guy just sits there shrugging his shoulders, and waiting for his retirement (next year)o_O The folks here on The Porch have been far more helpful in diagnosing my medical ills than he ever has been! I'm currently (finally) getting some specialist treatment for my arthritis, tennis elbow, multiple foot problems, and sleep apnea, but I got that IN SPITE of him, he actively tried to block me being referred to a rheumatolgist, for example, even though a consultant at the hospital had sent him a letter recommending I be referred to one. I've had a persistent cough for nearly a year, and have only just been referred to a chest specialist because I insisted on seeing a different doctor at my practice, and now the waiting list is 21 weeks! Such is the current state of the British Health Service I'm afraid :(
:thumbsdown::( What a horror story, Jack! It's bad enough to have some chronic health concerns, but to have chronic incompetent care is inexcusable!

..
Sorry, back to knives: Here's a couple months of patina progression. :)

Cool comparison pics, r8shell!:cool: It's impressive to me the way some color is creeping up through the white toward the bolsters as the knife ages!:thumbsup:

I had this one with me yesterday.

David, I can't imagine it gets much better than "Two Pork Pies and Sauron's Eye"! ;):thumbsup:

I had a bit of the "sniffles" this morning, so I had a teaspoon of Manuka honey for breakfast.

Your lambsfoot is looking sweet as the honey, Jeff! ;):thumbsup:

Thanks a lot my friend :)

I'm afraid there's a lot of that here these days. About 12 years ago, I broke a tendon in my left hand. Rang the doctor's told them one of my fingers was sticking up in the air, and that I thought I might have a broken tendon. Doc said it was a broken tendon and I should go to the hospital. Reported to the hospital, they told me it definitely wasn't a broken tendon, and I should come back in 2 weeks. Two weeks later, I went to the hospital and they told me there'd been a terrible mistake. Since then, despite an operation, I haven't been able to completely close my left hand. But I do have a scar folks sometimes comment on here!

You've really captured the colours in the horn of your Lam Jack GT :)
