Thank you, Sir, I was disappointed at first with the red horn,Dave, your red horn lambsfoot is quite striking on its own, that photo of the Guardians ebony Jack gave you is amazing with that purple geode background (or whatever it really is), and then a beautiful shot of your rosewood!![]()
Thanks. I hadn't noticed that and I'm looking through some older pictures to see if it isn't just a trick of the light. I don't think I've ever seen any really old stag handled knives with such light areas, so I guess it will continue to darken. Cool!Cool comparison pics, r8shell!It's impressive to me the way some color is creeping up through the white toward the bolsters as the knife ages!

I realized I haven't posted in this thread for almost a week.Here are some (but by no means all) of the posts from the past week that caught my eye and/or deserved response from me.
Thanks, Dave.
Took me a while to figure out the KK reference, then I decided it must be related to my describing the swayback handle as having a "bulbous butt".
Thanks for the rosewood respect, Jack.Admirable pics of your ebony and your stag lambsfoot knives!
Sounds delectable, Jeff!(I'll try to ignore most of the other posts involving food.
)
Congrats on BOTH new stag lambsfoots, @kfalk !!And thanks for the extra photos!
Thanks for the cool pics of your trip, Taylor!

Really like the details revealed in the wood by this close-up shot, Joshua!
What a horror story, Jack! It's bad enough to have some chronic health concerns, but to have chronic incompetent care is inexcusable!
Cool comparison pics, r8shell!It's impressive to me the way some color is creeping up through the white toward the bolsters as the knife ages!
Handsome horn with fancy coloration!!
David, I can't imagine it gets much better than "Two Pork Pies and Sauron's Eye"!
Your lambsfoot is looking sweet as the honey, Jeff!
This week I've been carrying my Lam Jack, the horn Guardians lambsfoot from 2017 (thanks, @mrknife):
