Every day's a food theme around here. Except among us austere types.
Who don't leave food lying around long enough to be photographed.
If you aren’t eating as much cake this year Jack, I hope you at least continue to take the photos.![]()
Good idea Rachel, stay warm mateGood morning, Guardians. February ice storm came a day early, so Austin Texas is closed today. I'm hunkered down and thinking about making a crockpot of soup. I'll try to remember to take pictures.
Tasty start to the day ToddGood morning Guardians. Breakfast at my desk today…at least that’s what I’m calling it.View attachment 2065466

That's good news Bill, keep on getting better buddyGood morning Guardians. Feeling a little better this morningbut still have some more recovering to do
. Took a stroll around the lake yesterday to get the ole juices flowing. Felt pretty good. Got to sleep with the help of some prescription drugs from my doctor and woke up in not too bad of shape. Little by little I guess.

Go for it Charlie, can't beat homemade soupGreat Idea, and an inspiration for a snowy day!! I must make some soup today also!!!
Your pics make me want to roam Jack...alas we have cold rain. I will just go with the coffee and cake.It was bright and sunny day here today, but with a strong, bone-slicing wind, which didn't drop all day. I ended up spending several hours in the park though, it's one of the biggest city parks in Europe, so plenty of space, as well as a couple of cafes to escape from the wind for a while. I had soup for lunch, with coffee and cake for after![]()

As long as I don't have to go out in it, and the power/water stay on, I'm enjoying the forced staycation.Hope you stay safe and warm, and the ice doesn’t give you too much trouble.![]()
Ahem...I'm not sure if chip buttys are much of an improvement, glycemically speaking.LOL!Tool Man has been diagnosed with diabetes, so we thought we'd mix up some other goodies with the sweet stuff!
