Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

That is wonderful to hear Dan :) I hope 2023 is a better year for you and Diana, I often think of you both :) With all the healthy exercise you take, I'm not surprised you are looking so slim my friend, but please let me know if I need to send you a pie or two ;)

Thank you Jack for the well wishes and thinking of us ! :)

Tempting 😋 as they are I'll have to pass on the pies though😁
I've managed to lose a significant amount of weight.
It began by adopting a healthier diet and then engaging in regular walks aided by my faithful companion, my ebony lamb. Sharing the pics here helped with motivation and aided in making regular walks a habit.

Then came Covid and I went crazy about sourdough LOL . My progress was stopped.

Last year around this time I reengaged as I had started to gain back some of the weight that I had lost.
I have since lost another 65 pounds.
No more sourdough for me :) ... I still bake it regularly for the ladies of the home.
For the past year I have followed what they call Mediterranean Keto diet.

Here are two good old friends :)

Afternoon Guardians! 19and I agree it's soup weather. 🤠

Hard to beat soup! :) Great to see you enjoying your '19 David :)
What a great day Jack, wonderful photos.
😎👍
Thank you Todd :)
Enjoyed the pics from your walk Jack. Those swans are regal. Good pics of your HHB!🤠
Thanks David, it's unusual to see so many swans together in my experience. My mate's missus swims in the larger lake almost every day of the year, doesn't even wear a wet-suit!

That is an incredible achievement Dan, well done :) I'm glad that you are still baking your gorgeous-loooking sourdough for the ladies :) It's great to see Chippy and your ebony Lambsfoot again, I love your pics :)-
What does Mediterranean Keto involve. ???
Is it like Flamenco! 🤷‍♂️:D;)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is doing OK, nearly halfway through another week. It started out wet and dreary here, but is brightening up a little bit. I'm hanging onto my Hartshead Barlow :) Have a good day Guardians

I think I see the light at the end of this winter tunnel Jack. Your picture gives me hope. These old bones definitely need some warmth for being outside. Always good to see your HHB.

Here's my Hartshead Barlow out in the sunshine (I had to go back a long way to find one)!

Thanks Bill, that's an old pic I'm afraid, thought I'd share some sunshine, but it's certainly not sunny here today

Wonderful to hear that, Dan.
Thank you Vince :)

Hi Leon :)

It is a very low carb diet that my doctor put me on with emphasis on healthy fats and proteins common to the mediterranean area of the world.
I consume about 55% to 65% of my calories from healthy fats ( avocado, olive oil, nuts, etc ), 25 to 35 % protein from fish ( salmon, trout, sardines) lean poultry, eggs etc and very low carbs at about 10 % .
Sugars and anything processed or refined is out.
The doctor has now taken me off the Metformin, lipitor and blood pressure meds as my blood sugars, cholesterol, blood pressure and blood work are all normal now.

Love the lamb Dan.
You may be an inspiration for me...blood pressure has changed lately.
Bob

Having a change Pete? :)
Yes sir. Figured y’all may be sick and tired of my everyday lamb. 😂
The doctor has now taken me off the Metformin, lipitor and blood pressure meds as my blood sugars, cholesterol, blood pressure and blood work are all normal now.
Congratulations! That is amazing dedication. Glad to hear the meds are off the table!
I like the change up to that nice Bog wood Pete.
Thanks Bob. It’s a pretty well made knife.
