Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Looks great John, enjoy some Sam Adams myself tonight.
Thanks, Todd. It's tasty stuff. 🍺

Hope your week is off to a good start, my friend. 🤠

Good morning Guardians, a few hangovers this morning I imagine, but I hope everyone had a great weekend :) Maybe one or two of you were lucky enough to get hold of one of Eric's Lambsfoot models, which dropped in the early hours here. Dull and overcast today in Yorkshire, but not raining at least. I have a few things to do at home, and then I'm going to head down to Charlie's, and then into town. I hope your week gets off to a good start Guardians, and enjoy carrying your Lambsfoot :)

Great photo of your lamb Jack. I have to go hunt for some knarly trees....they really accentuate these lambs.

Thanks buddy :)

Nice photo David

LOL! :D I know the feeling Rachel, as I get older, different things appeal, like sleeping in my own bed, and not having far to go to it :D Hope you have a great evening, sounds good to me :)

Have a great night Mike, the Lambsfoot blade on your #88 is looking good :)

LOL! :D

I was planning to get through a bunch of jobs today too Bill, but I've only managed half of them, don't know where the day has gone! Your Hartshead Barlow is always a treat to see :)

Stunning stag Steve
Thanks Jack. Hope your week starts off and finishes well.

Good morning Guardians. Sunny morning here in southern coastal NC. A little on the cool side but it will steadily warm up all week.

Howdy Jeff.😀
Howdy back atcha, Harvey! Hope you’re well.😉
Thanks to a local sponsor, the boys were very well kitted out :D It turns out they are the youngest team of Shadwell United F.C., a tiny amateur team, named for the village. By coincidence, the very forgettable British football hooligan film, I.D., is set in the fictional London suburb 'Shadwell'! 🤣
Fictional London suburb of Shagwell? Any relation to Felicity Shagwell by name, Shags-well by reputation?E2261DDE-36A1-46EC-AE32-A34AB8BE5743.jpeg4F4FCCFA-756C-4465-BC25-8DC9E66A1446.jpeg

I like that Jack. It reminds me of a Quill blade I have in the works.
Yes, Quill blades generally come in two forms, one of which is shaped like a very small coping blade, but it pre-dates the Lambsfoot, and only resembles one when heavily sharpened, and magnified! :D
Great photo of your lamb Jack. I have to go hunt for some knarly trees....they really accentuate these lambs.
Thanks Bob, I do like a gnarly tree! :D
This Christmas cactus is throughly confused....may today start a good week for everyone.View attachment 2080949
I'm easily confused myself, my friend :D Nice bocote there
Mine is just as confused

Thanks Bill, yours too buddy, sounds like a nice day :)
Morning Guardians! Hope everyone has a good day. Suppose to get up to 64° F here today. Faithful Axe Lamb will be at my side helping out today.View attachment 2081044
Great way to start the week Steve, hope you have a good one :)

It turns out there is an actual London suburb of Shadwell, but the one in the film was fictional! 🤪 No accident that the writers took the name of an obscure dance, and an alternative (UK) version of a better known 4-letter word, and confused the two for innuendo-laden humour, but certainly one of the reasons for a restricted cinema rating

Back to the grind after a great Superbowl last night. Just work today and take out pizza for dinner later. Carrying the rosewood IXL. Under bright lights the wood has a metallic look to it. Don't know if that is just a part of the stain they put on it but looks nice either way. Hope everyone has had a good start to the week.

Glad it was a great Superbowl :) Take out pizza would be the highlight of my week! :D I only order a few times a year, but sadly my favourite local pizza place of the last 21 years has closed down due to the owner retiring 😭 That's interesting Paul, I'm afraid I don't know anything about the wood, post-1982, those IXL knives were made by so many different cutlers. Stan Shaw even made knives for Eggington for some years, before falling out with the old gaffer there

It was certainly a cultural phenomenon Pete, I hadn't realised it had been 30-odd years! 😱 I've enjoyed watching the DVD extras 👍

Cool pic 😎 I hope it's a great game 👍

Enjoying the Super Bowl in style... Pizza and a beer. 🏈

In my younger days I would have overindulged for sure. I am smart enough now to keep it to just a couple if I have work the next day. Lamb drop during the Superbowl? That is tough lol. Wonderful HHB as always Jack. Have a great day in town.

I'd never had a hangover until I was 50 :) Things have changed! 😭 Thank you very much my friend, it turned into quite a nice day here :) I live on a very friendly street, but sometimes folks hibernate in the winter. They're starting to come out again, which is nice :)
