Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Regular Day of work for me. Fortunately, last day of work form me this week. Flying down to El Paso tomorrow to surprise my son for his birthday. I will be knifeless for four days!! Local Ace hardware down there might remedy that. Unfortunately, no lambs at Ace. Got my stag lambsfoot close by at work today. Have a great day everyone.

Sweet lamb Paul. Have a safe and speedy trip.

Thanks. I should probably call it Bwyan instead of Stubby. It wed me a mehwy chase to make it usable. Grind down the pen to reach the main nick, for some reason that didn't work so put in the EO notch, delete the pen because it was unopenable without pliers anyway.

The work seems well worth it Jer.

Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday :) I'll be off to the market tomorrow, to catch up with Tool Man! :D Hope he's eating a little better! 🤐 I haven't carried The Chieftain in a while, so I think we'll go for a spin together ;)

Just checked the Royal Mail site to see if there's any news about international mail, as I'm going to be near the main post office tomorrow. Hard to believe they're STILL not accepting international parcels! I've had a parcel for Tyson A Wright Tyson A Wright for a month now! 🤨 The mail coming out of Ukraine is better! 🤬

Your Mail service is aging two knives I ordered. They should be classics by the time I get them Jack.!😢

I just read an article on what is going on. Wow. As a former mail man I know there would be riots at the post offices here.

Indeed; Is international mail moving at all in Great Britain or stalled?

I have a package going to GB and I hope they receive it OK. Looks like it made it to London.
Per the US Post Office the last entry was Feb 11
"Your item departed a transfer airport in HEATHROW, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND on February 11, 2023 at 7:14 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination."

Royal Mail Last entry was Feb 9
"Thursday 09 February 2023 15:51 Item Leaving overseas United States of America"

Whatever the Hack was it sure seems to have caused a lot of problems for Royal Mail

It's unbelievable isn't it? I hope you get them soon Bob 👍

The situation here is just beyond belief Paul, the mail is the least of it. I doubt there's another country on earth where there WOULDN'T have been riots! 😩

As far as I know, there isn't a problem with incoming mail Paul, but apparently the tracking information can be (more) unreliable 🙄 There doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency about resolving the problems they've had, and I've seen no proper explanation 😖

Plus, Glocks are ugly! Now if it had been an 1873 Colt Peacemaker....
I applaud what you and the wife did. Would have been a shame if someone got hurt. And I agree, if it was a Colt??? what Peacemaker!

I find there is an astute beauty to the Glock. Not the appearance but in function. Only 34 parts, simple to manipulate, and consistent trigger.

Knife of the day for me. Fresh edge from a weekend touch up!

Absolutely! I have a first generation model 22 and it has NEVER failed to cycle no matter what it gets fed. Burry it in the sand, drop it in water it shoots every time. Heck a buddy of mine says it’ll shoot under water, though I’ve never tried it. They are the TimeX/G-Shocks of semi autos, takes a licking and keeps on ticking! There’s a reason why it’s been copied by all of the major manufacturers and then some.

I told Tool Man, before I found out it wasn't a real firearm, and he said, "I'd have had that." I reminded him that it could be a murder weapon, and he said, "Yeah, it'd be really daft...but I'm also doing daft things!" 😖 🤣
