I would be very surprised if you will be able to even post a letter over here within 5 years. There are murmurings of our Postal Service getting rid of it's letter deliveries. And where there's smoke there's Cod.Thanks for the suggestion Ed. Hard to believe this is a First World country at the moment![]()
Jack, if whatever you're shipping is perishable, please just eat it! Otherwise, just wait for this to clear up. I've got a package for you, but I'm not sending until this is better, so it's not just sitting at the docks or whatever.Just checked the Royal Mail site to see if there's any news about international mail, as I'm going to be near the main post office tomorrow. Hard to believe they're STILL not accepting international parcels! I've had a parcel forTyson A Wright for a month now!
The mail coming out of Ukraine is better!

I agree 100%... and "clunky"... I'm more of a wheel gun guy myself.Glocks are ugly!
Same. Every time I call 911, they want more information about me than the situation I'm reporting.he said the police spent most of their time asking about HIM
I thought for sure you were going to say Bourbon... or was it Whiskey or Scotch?Nah, coffee works for me!
I like the simplicity... but hate the looks, the blocky ergos, and the super heavy spring.I find there is an astute beauty to the Glock
Same exact model I have. I don't much like it but I keep it around for its reliability.I have a first generation model 22 and it has NEVER failed to cycle no matter what it gets fed.
Southwest has been having a ton of problems. Sorry your trip was cancelled.Southwest just canceled all my flights
Have fun at the Market tomorrow... and keep your eyes open for any super heroes that might show up.
Just video chatted my son. He is in good spirits. Thanks for your concern John. Forgot to ask. How was cornhole night? Champion I presume.I agree 100%... and "clunky"... I'm more of a wheel gun guy myself.

This house loves wheelguns too. My summer carry is a j-frame, wife's carry is a j-frame exclusively.I agree 100%... and "clunky"... I'm more of a wheel gun guy myself.
In 2011 I switched to gen 4 glocks because they fit my paw perfectly.I like the simplicity... but hate the looks, the blocky ergos, and the super heavy spring.
Yeah, same here mate, absolutely stinks!I would be very surprised if you will be able to even post a letter over here within 5 years. There are murmurings of our Postal Service getting rid of it's letter deliveries. And where there's smoke there's Cod.
It's that long since I sealed it up, I can't actually remember, but nothing that perishable I don't think Tyson. That's very kind of you my friendJack, if whatever you're shipping is perishable, please just eat it! Otherwise, just wait for this to clear up. Put in a Bar-Sto barrel and aftermarket trigger and you’ll be amazed at how much better it will shoots.I agree 100%... and "clunky"... I'm more of a wheel gun guy myself.

They cancelled it.How was cornhole night?
This is hilarious.Blimey, just getting a parcel off the postie, (another pair of Redbacks), when a neighbour down the road tells me he'd just found a gun dumped behind another property he owns, a few hundred yards away! He'd tried ringing the police on the emergency number (28 minutes, no answer), the non-emergency number (35 minutes, no answer), and then driven to the huge police station about a mile away (CLOSED!). As we was telling me about it, a police car came up the street, and we flagged it down. My neighbour says he'll keep me posted
Sitcom stuff.Turns out it wasn't real! Most people here have never handled a gun, and it fooled the cops, who got the Firearms Squad out
gun snobPlus, Glocks are ugly!
I love it for its durability, reliance and NO SAFETYNot the appearance but in function.
The S.A. fools fired every employee who refused to be vaccinated against their will. End of story. You with the Royal Mail and me with whatever is happening with Southwest Airlines right now.
gun snobI agree 100%... and "clunky"..
The fact that a guy would like Valentines more than anything on earth is a sad thing.Apparently, guys like Valentines more than cornhole night.
I guess I am...gun snob
Right? I spent 20 minutes in line at the grocery store behind a huge line of guys buying flowers after work... a dozen roses for $50.00, what's not to love? The fact that a guy would like Valentines more than anything on earth is a sad thing.
Good to see you drop in Mate.View attachment 2084016
I don't post in this thread nearly as often as I should.
It's funny that you say that. Valentines has lost a lot of it's appeal here, no where near a big a deal as it was even a few years ago.Apparently, guys like Valentines more than cornhole night.
Valentines day = the king of made up holidays although I am not and will not blow it off. I prefer to be out of the doghouse. BUT YEAH between us where my wife will never see this, I hate Valentines day.The fact that a guy would like Valentines more than anything on earth is a sad thing.
When i saw you posting, i thought it was your new acquisition.
It should be here tomorrow. Regardless of the new lamb, I’m getting back to carrying this one at work. It’s a special knifeWhen i saw you posting, i thought it was your new acquisition.
Sorry for your disappointment, Paul.It looks like I won't be making it in time for my son's birthday. Southwest just canceled all my flights. Was on hold for 2 1/2 hours and they told me they are going through a staffing issue. Really? You were ok taking my money lol. My wife is pretty bummed. At least my son didn't know I was coming. Headed to the Post Office to overnight the gifts I bought for him.
Jack Black looks like the system has us both by the nose. You with the Royal Mail and me with whatever is happening with Southwest Airlines right now. On a brighter note I will no longer be lambless for the weekend
.
Sorry Jack. Hopefully new ones are available.I've been searching for my reading glasses, which I haven't used since yesterday. I rang the pub, but they haven't been handed in, and if I lost them on the bus, I'd say the chances of my getting them back are slim to zero![]()
Great to see you in the thread, David. Flat cap and Lambfoot image is perfect.View attachment 2084016

Jack, I keep an extra pair of cheaters in every room of my house, car etc.. just in case. I remember that about 20 years ago my brother noticed that I was holding the book I was reading at arm’s length. He handed me his reading glasses and it was then I realized I was getting old.Oh no Paul, that's rotten, particularly the casualness of it!How do they get away with treating people like that, I understand it happens all the time with some airlines?!
I'm sorry you won't get to see your son for his birthday
Thanks for the info Pete
