Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I do that all the time mate, I'll be in a cafe or bar, and say "How long have you had that photo/painting up on the wall?" And they'll say, "All the 10 years you've been coming in here!" 🤣 The old one was only there a week or so in this case ;)

Thanks for trying Harvey :) It sounds like it was made some years back, but it's a long time since Sheffield was using stag of that quality. It's character, and the matching between Mark and Pile sides, along with the EO notch point point to a bespoke piece IMHO. I reckon you have a one-off there my friend :) Beautiful shot

I'm appalled that this hasn't been in the news here Duncan, but then even the Turkish/Syrian earthquake was only mentioned for a few days, before making way for some rubbish to prattle about. I am sure you have heard of Survivor's Syndrome/Survivor's Guilt, it's a common, and natural, reaction when empathetic folks witness the suffering of others, but escape relatively unscathed. It must have been traumatic to see your new home devastated in this way, and to the extent it was. It sounds you're going to be reminded of it for a while too, as things may take time to get back to normal. You take care buddy

I might just give up Lent! 🤪

The pull is reasonable on mine :)

Good morning Guardians, horrific to hear what Duncan and his neighbours have been through! It's been a heck of a few years hasn't it?! Most of our disasters here, can't be blamed on Mother Nature :( Hope your week is going OK Guardians, and that you have a good day :) I still have this nasty cough and sore throat, but the former is intermittent. Carrying my '19 today, like our pal in New Zealand. Have a good day folks, and stay safe out there

Another doctor's visit...the joy's of old age. May be time for a new hip. My lamb will tag along.View attachment 2098827

A couple of beauties !

The grain on Lucy's replacement is wonderful... or was Lucy the replacement for this one, I get confused.🤠
Thanks buddy, this was the original sample for the 2019 run, which the Butter-Fingered Oaf did his best to ruin 😠 Wright's refurbished it for me, but it took them 6 months (top below). In the meantime, I had bonded with Miss Lucy (second below), so it was a while before I carried this one again

Thanks Steve :)

Thanks for the kind words, Paul, and certainly, coffee and lambsfoots are a pair of mystical realities: enjoyed by many, but truly appreciated by only a few.
Agree 100%. Your welcome Jeff. Kind words are easy when you showcase a beauty like that.

I thought about his ordeal a lot yesterday. It's crazy that I didn't hear a peep about it. I know what Meaghan Markle had for breakfast but have no idea people are going through a terrible natural disaster. It is unfortunate really. I hope your current bug works itself out of you in short order. '19 is a wonderful looking knife. Hope your day was memorable Jack.

Awesome lamb Bob. The covers are really nice. I think I favor a nice piece of wood over all other materials. Sorry to hear about the hip Bob. Hope your feeling better in short order my friend.
Ain't that the truth.
Tastes pretty good too Bob 😊 Hope you get some sunshine soon 👍

Great lamb today John. Have a great day buddy.

Sun is finally shining!!! Regular day of work for me today. Had my interview for promotion yesterday and felt I did well! At least I can say I made it interesting. I'm sure one of the candidates with more seniority will get it but you never know. Got the faithful IXL in the pocket today. I really like this knife. If they offered a carbon steel version of this knife it would be perfect.
