Hope your weekend is off to a good start, my friend. :)

Willem decided to redo my custom. A bit different than what I showed earlier but has the shield and file work I originally ordered. Missing the fullered bolster but honestly, I’m thrilled. Hope to get this in the next two weeks if all goes well. I think the color on this one came out even better than the other one. This is a 4 inch model which will be a nice compliment to my Sheffield which I think is 3.5 or so

Gus, I think you will find this one will be glued to your hand. I’ve carried mine more than any other knife since it arrived. The action on them is perfect.

Nice find Gus  If you show your #88 in this thread, in future, would you mind leaving the Clip blade closed please? :)
Of course, sorry, that’s the way the seller listed it. I’ve seen people refer to it both as a sheep and a lamb but to me it looks like a lamb

Not bad at all thanks John, I had a couple of cups of coffee in Charlie's, and then headed out to the country pub I visited the other week, for a pint, and a pint of chips with my mate :D :) Have a good one yourself buddy :)

No apology necessary Gus, we had the discussion a while back, when those knives were first launched (there's also a thread specific to them) :) It is definitely a Lambsfoot my friend, just like the blades on Charlie's dedicated Lambsfoot knives :)

Gus that is a beautiful lamb. I love the blue!
Really nice Dwight!
Thank you Paul.
Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone made it through the week in one piece, and that you have a fantastic weekend :) I'm hoping to meet up with my pal Wolfie for a pint this afternoon, maybe even lunch, but we'll see ;) I have a few things to do at home, and then I might have a walk down to Charlie's :) Got my Hartshead Barlow back in my pocket :) Have a great day Guardians

Gorgeous HHB Jack. That whet stone is very photogenic.

Have a great weekend Guardians.AED9C3B9-7690-4AA3-93D2-CE9AF1FCDA84_1_201_a.jpeg

I don't really drink a lot of hard liquor, but when I do it's almost always whiskey. Usually, the "bang for buck" stuff like the cheaper Maker's Marks or Knob Creeks bottles.

Just over a week ago, I got my annual bonus from work. So, I thought I would splurge on something a little more expensive and something I might enjoy neat or on the rocks. I've never had Woodford Reserve, to the best of my knowledge. This was one of their pricier bottles. It's a little on the sweet side, and I'm certain there's better whiskeys out there. But, it has some complexity to the taste and I've been enjoying it! Pictured here with my lamb.

Got to have a treat now and again :) Glad you're enjoying it :) Nice Lamb for sure

Older photos today, it is actually nice here today.

That's good to hear my friend, been cold here, but pleasant enough. They are forecasting cold temperatures, and some snow here next week

Turned out to be a depressing, 3-hour, black and white movie, in Russian, about who knows what! I gave up after 20 minutes! I gave it to my 'film buff' friend, and he has tried watching it 4 times, without making it to the end yet! :D
What’s the title?🤣

Awesome combo, Jack.
I hope everyone has a great weekend. Those that were affected by weather, may your recovery be a speedy one.View attachment 2103353
Look at that spine.😎👍🏻
I have a little shovelling to do. We'll see if it's slush or ice underneath. I'll try my new shovel that I got on season's over sale.

My snow: it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

I’m not sure this is accurate, but it is fun:

It’s scary fun. Your Lambfoot looks great in the image, Pete.

What’s the title?🤣
There's actually a link to the wiki page in my post, the movie is many times worse, even than the rambling synopsis! :D A British film critic, supposedly lavishing praise on the "deranged and grotesque" movie, called it "first and foremost a vision of human misery, brutality, and ignorance."  😣
Awesome combo, Jack.
Thanks buddy :)

Thanks Harvey, pure luck I'm afraid! :D
