Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I walked away from the computer and now I don't think what I was going to add to this is very interesting.

Cool pic of Old Toffee Wings though! :D

There's an event here, in early May, I'd rather avoid, so I was thinking of having a short break overseas. I received an email earlier, advertising some cheap holidays in Turkey, and I kind of accidentally booked one in Bulgaria, on the Black Sea! 'Sunny Beach' I quickly started regretting it, as it just looks like a big, loud beach resort, even though the hotel itself has good reviews, but I'd lose 30% of the cost if I cancel it, so think I might have to just go, and spend my days wearing earplugs, and getting sozzled. Liberal knife laws at least

New lamb Barlow came in. These are the Buffalo horn covers I want to get it recovered with
That is going to be a good one Jon. Congrats on the new lamb. Can't wait to see it completed.
Thank you Jack. It is a fantastic barlow.

Thank you David.

That's a wonderful score Paul and yes we certainly do love those CC lambs.

Congratulations Daniel and welcome. You are fortunate to live in Utah. Paradise.

Thank you Harvey. I agree. :)

Would anyone feel the need to question their pronouns? ;)

Good for you Todd! Summer time... and the livin' is easy...

What a magnificent edifice! And the cemetary! I'd love to spend the day in there. (above ground).

Such a beautiful lamb.

Can't beat Buffalo horn Steve. 👍 Very nice.

A friend of mine used to go to Bulgaria many years ago to specifically stay in those resorts. Said they were fantastic, cheap and clean and QUITE. Then the hordes discovered them, end of that. But he did say, he never ventured out of the resort, the crime was out of control, and he could handle himself. Might be better now.

Yeah, my mate went recently with his family, not sure whereabouts though. I tried to call him, but he's frightened to answer his phone at home in case his missus disapproves 😒 I've been looking at some YT videos, doesn't look dangerous, just a bit busy

I'm sure you'll manage to have fun and share lots of pictures... we are looking forward to it.

Hello all. Thought I'd drop in. My goodness it's hard to keep up with this thread.

I sometimes feel a bit of a pretender in these parts. Because although one of my favorite knives is a lambsfoot, the pattern itself is not.

Still, I am doing my best to imitate pmew pmew 's dad's knife.

Try as I might, I can't seem to patina those polished bolsters. They remain stubbornly shiny.

Tool Man takes his stall to a steam fair at Whitby, on the North Yorkshire coast, each year, in August, and I have just booked 4 nights in a hotel there, so we can hang out. Whitby is one of my favourite seaside spots here

Is this the same Whitby that gives us the famous Whitby Jet? 🤔 I wonder if it would be possible to get a piece of jet, and have it used for the covers of a lambsfoot. Obviously not a knife you'd want to drop, but if they can make knives with mammoth, they should be able to use Whitby Jet as well.

Jack, I think Bulgaria will be lots of fun. Fingers crossed you find some quiet.
