Well I have great news to share!! Not only am I feeling better but I got the official promotion offer at work. A quick turn of events from yesterday and I am just really humbled today at life's blessings. To celebrate I am going to spark up my favorite pipe and smoke my favorite tobacco. Got my numero uno lamb today. Thank you everyone for the good karma.

That saying " it's always greener on the other side" may come into play here though.
There seems to be an exodus from the crowded areas of the north eastern part of our country. Taxes, crime, cost of living and down right ignorance are great influences for our migrations.
You would always be welcome over here...we could use more gentlemen.

My favorite tobaccoo is Germain's rich dark flake. It is made in your neck of the woods. Impossible to find here. I have a little bit stashed away and smoke it a couple times a year.

Well, Jack Black s package arrived today. Dawn and I were enjoying going through it - this is a fantastic package, full of fun stuff, perfect for wannbe Yorkshireman and Yorkshirewoman.


Last thing I got to was a metal tin at the bottom of the box, and when I opened that I think my eyes popped out and my jaw hit the floor.


The HHB is stunning - I think even better in person than expected (and getting an HHB of my own was entirely unexpected).

This has been a very rough week, and today not much better. This incredibly generous gift was a reminder that people care about us. This ray of light couldn't have come at a better time. Thanks again Jack!
