Everybody heard about the horrible mail service and left.
LOL!

With the trains barely functioning, huge tailbacks at the ports, the border security on strike, and the price of airfares, I'm surprised so many people have managed to get out of the country!

Afternoon Guardians! Since it's Market Day I thought I better carry the Big Horn Lamb today.

LOL!

Fantastic David
This Rosewood lamb has been with me for the past few days.
Looking good Jeremy
Looks wonderful Jack!

Thanks Todd, it was just what I needed after a cold day in the market
Thank you Jack. It is very exciting.
My favorite tobaccoo is Germain's rich dark flake. It is made in your neck of the woods. Impossible to find here. I have a little bit stashed away and smoke it a couple times a year.
I was just looking online Paul, I'm not sure what the law is in relation to exporting tobacco, but I'd be happy to send you some

I am staggered by the price of pipe tobacco though, I'm not sure how much it was when I quit cigarettes in 1978, but 20 good cigarettes for 50p (half a Pound (£) Sterling) then. A 1 3/4 oz tin of tobacco is £25 today!

Of course that would be a 2 oz tin at one time, but they made it metric!
Well,
Jack Black
s package arrived today. Dawn and I were enjoying going through it - this is a fantastic package, full of fun stuff, perfect for wannbe Yorkshireman and Yorkshirewoman.

Last thing I got to was a metal tin at the bottom of the box, and when I opened that I think my eyes popped out and my jaw hit the floor.

The HHB is stunning - I think even better in person than expected (and getting an HHB of my own was entirely unexpected).
This has been a very rough week, and today not much better. This incredibly generous gift was a reminder that people care about us. This ray of light couldn't have come at a better time. Thanks again Jack!
I'm very sorry you've had a rough week Tyson, I hope things are going to get better my friend

I'm glad that my package finally made it, at least. I think it's more than 2 months since I parcelled it up

Hope you enjoy using your Hartshead Barlow my friend
Wow!!!! A package of pure joy. Congrats on the HHB Tyson and kudos to Jack. Awesome all the way around.
I second what Paul just said !
Thanks gents
Thanks mate, yeah!

What a great (and unsurprising) gesture from
Jack Black

Nice work Daniel, looks delicious

LOL! I was fast asleep Dwight!

What a wonderful surprise! For Jack's a jolly good fellow....
Thank you guys
Well that’s just good sense. When you’re eating Tool Man quantities of food, you’ve got to be economical.
Oh, he's 'careful' (as they say in Yorkshire)!

As long as it’s not “swede surprise.”

What a fantastic package, Tyson! Well done, Jack!
Thanks mate, nice to see your brace of Barlows
Oh yes!

He's also a big 'Sweeney' fan, and when he got his first Jag, he told me he was thinking of buying an airsoft replica sawn-off to keep on the back-seat. I had to have several conversations to persuade him that the police were unlikely to view this as a joke, and it was unlikely to end well!

He's a daft sod!
Soooooooon….. (not sure why it looks a lighter color than the original post. Will have to see when it gets here which picture is closer. I’m kind of hoping it’s the deeper blue from the earlier pic but I’ll be happy either way. This almost looks like a robin’s egg blue which is awesome. It was supposed to have fullered bolsters but oh well.

That looks beautiful Gus, I bet you can't wait to get it in your hands
I'd love to be "Two Lamborghini Vinny"!
I’d settle for the cash equivalent.

Good morning Guardians, we had some snow overnight, so Britain has come to a standstill...I wonder if anyone will notice!

I'm not sure I'll get out today, as I have a load of stuff to do, but here's a photo taken from my window. As you can see we have been overwhelmed
Heavy snow has bombarded Yorkshire overnight with dozens of roads blocked, schools across the region shut and severe weather warnings in force...
I'm carrying an Old Friend today, my Unity Lambsfoot, shown here in an old pic

Have a great day Guardians
