Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians, hope everyone returning from the Badger show had a safe journey home, with happy thoughts, friendships cemented, and maybe a little new pointy treasure in your pocket ;) Enjoy the rest of your weekend, like the rest of us who were not able to attend :) Our clocks went forward last night, which coincided badly with my night out, meaning I didn't get in until 2.30am  It was nice to see my friend Matt, and his family, though he fell asleep 10 minutes into our second film! :D I called a taxi at that point! ;) Pretty dull outdoors today, and I have no plans, other than trying to catch up with 'The Catch Bit Show', and maybe a bit of housework. Struggling to kick my Hartshead Barlow out of my pocket, so I'm going to treat myself to a Double Lambsfoot Day! :D Have a good Sunday Guardians :)

Wow, ultimate pair of lambs today Jack. Looks like you had a fun night. I fall asleep during movies all the time. My wife hates it 🤣 . Sounds like you have a nice relaxing day planned. Hope it's going exactly as you had it pictured.
I dig that crazy rock scene, man!

Thanks Paul :) My ex used to always fall asleep in movies, but the worst thing was that she'd then deny being asleep! At least my pal slept more quietly! :D ;)
Morning Guardians! Already been reading Tweedales Directory of Sheffield Cutlery this morning. Packing the little IXL Lamb with a Pruner handle. Happy trails!

An incredible piece of work David :) Nice little Lamb there too buddy :)

I came across this box of Lambsfoot knives at the Badger knife show this weekend and asked Barrett, Todd, and Paul if they were interested in one.
At $10.00 a piece or all five for $40.00 I thought that was a pretty good deal. They all passed, so I bought the lot. :)

I wish this little joke was true but sadly, there wasn't a lambsfoot model to be found as Paul already stated.
There was though a smattering of some other fine old Sheffield knives to be had at that show.

If I keep falling asleep I might be her ex 🤣 😂.
LOL! 🤣
Breakfast of Champions. Got the usual Sunday lamb with me.

Despite my vegetarian Lent, I'm still very wary about fake meat products, the burgers I had were impressive, along with the pies, but I've steered clear of some of the other things I've seen on sale. However, this fake chicken was on offer, and I thought I'd give it a try. More expensive than chicken ounce for ounce I reckon!

The strangest thing about this stuff is that, when you open the pack, it does smell a bit like raw chicken! But that's not a smell I enjoy! The colour of the product also matches that of chicken, but I don't think you'd actually confuse it with chicken. I seasoned it with black pepper, and Ghost Grill Seasoning, and fried it in a little toasted sesame oil. It browned like I would expect chicken to do, but didn't really give off much of a smell.

The texture, when cooked, is vaguely like chicken, as is the flavour, but not good chicken. It doesn't flake or crumble like chicken, and the flavour is more like the sort of processed, reconstituted chicken you might find in a MacDonald's or something. It worked very well as an addition to a Vegetable Dhansak (with spicy rice), but I think I would have enjoyed the curry just as much without it. It was OK, but not something I really enjoyed.
