Definitely mate, I spent 10 years travelling pretty intensively around Europe, some years I was abroad more than at home. I only set foot on a beach once, and that was at night, to attend the Gypsy flamenco festival and funfair near Barcelona. Even when I lived in Lebanon, often within sight of the sea, I only went to the beach once, and we just walked there and backI'm 100% with you there. You travel to see different countries and meet the people and learn. Not hang around with the people you have left and can see everyday when at home. Get out amongst the locals. Easter Sunday morning here 6AM, just waiting for the coffee machine to warm up.![]()
Thanks a lot buddy, I'm sure it'll be interesting! Thanks Jack. It was a trip long over due, and one we won’t wait so long to do again. Hope you have a great time on your trip.![]()
LOL!Dang Jack! I hope you find that the reviews are more indicative of the location/accommodations than the resort name!
Thanks Pete, I hope to make a couple of visits to the town. I shall be looking out for Spartacus souvenirs too!Took a quick look at Nessebar. That looks very interesting. The church of St. Sofia especially.
I will be interested in your experiences.

I found these harvest-tide lights on my soundboard bench, where they don't belong, so I brought them home and dropped them somewhere they don't belong.
What a great weekend, thanks for taking us along! Although your tale of the Ring Road made me think of:

I have one somewhere Paul, but mine has been absolutely ruined I'm afraid!Thank you Michael. It is a special knife from a get guy. Doesn't get better than that in my book.
Jack had mentioned to me that they don't come up too much. Kinda just got lucky on that site. Thanks buddy.

And that made me think of this:
Looks good mate, sorry about the bland food though, I hate it hen that happensTonight we tried a new Mexican restaurant that opened near us a couple months ago. Seemed like a nice place, and it’s less than 5 minutes from our house, but the food was surprisingly bland.

LOL!But how are the Ritas??
We have a spot down the street that is a 5/10 but the drinks make it “palatable “

I would rather poke my own eye out with rusty wire than eat a Hot Cross bun from a supermarket.I had a couple of toasted hot cross buns for breakfast, got them from the market on Friday, much tastier than the ones from the supermarket

I cannot eat Easter eggs, bad memories from my childhood, far too sickly sweet for me. These on the other hand are good, and great value for money from Aldi. I don't normally eat much chocolate but got these as an Easter treat. About 15 shillings Sterling, good value i think. It's been a very long time since someone bought me a chocolate Easter Egg
I have had them from Aldi here Leon, (along with the mint variety), but eat very little chocolate, mainly just dark chocolate, and limited to odd bars gifted to me. I did have a small piece of 'fruit 'n' nut' the other day though, which brought back childhood memoriesI cannot eat Easter eggs, bad memories from my childhood, far too sickly sweet for me. It's the first time I've tasted it for decades Leon, as I rarely eat milk chocolate. I was having a coffee with with a young friend, and she offered me a piece![]()

We must have very similar tastes, i don't mind some Fruit n' Nut occasionally.

When I was at secondary skool, I had a very snooty Geography teacher, who considered herself very cultured, and was constantly putting her class down for the uncultured peasants we almost certainly were2000 was a great year for automotive homicide.
Good luck JerI've had a couple boxes of Cadbury eggs recently, and I've got bloodwork this week for my checkup. I hope Dr. E. won't have too much to slap me around about.
With all my patient suffering this Easter, maybe I'll get a miracle.

HHB looking this morning.Good morning Guardians!Blimey, it's taken me an hour and a half to catch up!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend
I enjoyed my walk yesterday, but my ankles and Achilles tendons are hurting today. I had hoped I had recovered from spraining both ankles around Xmas
As it's a 4-day holiday, I dare say it was carnage in the centre of Leeds last night!
I had a couple of toasted hot cross buns for breakfast, got them from the market on Friday, much tastier than the ones from the supermarket
No plans for today, except doing some spring-cleaning, if I get time
Have a good day Guardians

I can still remember the shade of scarlet she went!
