Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

You know, I'm not sure, but think I ordered some Cadbury Creme eggs. I'll need a bigger Easter dish.

Compact flourescent bulbs. LEDs sure are an improvement.
Wow! What kind of chicken lays eggs like those?!?

I'm 100% with you there. You travel to see different countries and meet the people and learn. Not hang around with the people you have left and can see everyday when at home. Get out amongst the locals. Easter Sunday morning here 6AM, just waiting for the coffee machine to warm up. 🥰
Definitely mate, I spent 10 years travelling pretty intensively around Europe, some years I was abroad more than at home. I only set foot on a beach once, and that was at night, to attend the Gypsy flamenco festival and funfair near Barcelona. Even when I lived in Lebanon, often within sight of the sea, I only went to the beach once, and we just walked there and back :D I needed a break last Christmas, after missing the summer here due to my sciatica, and Fuerteventura was a first for me, (and my first trip overseas in 10 years), but I was out exploring everyday, and spoke Spanish the entire time I was there :) I have to admit that I'm less adventurous as I get older though, and considerably less capable. Until I was 50, I just used to pick up a small rucsac, and head off, travelling by boat and train, and car-sharing with friends, staying wherever came up along the way. Great times and great memories, but I have got soft now! :D
Thanks Jack. It was a trip long over due, and one we won’t wait so long to do again. Hope you have a great time on your trip. 😎👍
Thanks a lot buddy, I'm sure it'll be interesting! :D Unfortunately, I don't get there until 10pm on the first day, and I've paid for the 'all-inclusive'! If I'd known I was going to Bulgaria, I'd have gone for longer! :D
😆 Dang Jack! I hope you find that the reviews are more indicative of the location/accommodations than the resort name!
LOL! :D I'd seen the name crop up on other sites, and avoided it like the plague! :D In this case, as well as including it with the Turkish offers, they just listed the hotel, and 'Bourgas Area' There's a bar nearby called 'Funny Pub'! o_O 🤣
Took a quick look at Nessebar. That looks very interesting. The church of St. Sofia especially.

I will be interested in your experiences.
Thanks Pete, I hope to make a couple of visits to the town. I shall be looking out for Spartacus souvenirs too! ;)
Here is a couple pictures we took at Lamanai, Belize we in 2018. Wife and I always seek the history on our trips. That was our last trip out of the US we are due for an adventure soon

Fantastic pics Pete, looks great  I was hoping to get to Sicily this year, but I don't think I'm going to have time now. With this spring break, I just basically wanted to get out of the country for a few days, basically anywhere that wasn't England on May 6th! :D ;)
Great photos, Jack! Thanks for the tour.
Thanks buddy :)
Im guessing glue. Lol. If I had to guess, liners are pinned and this slab of 🪵 is glued or fixed on with something similar. Build quality is overall nice.
LOL! :D I seem to recall Rodgers claiming some sort of innovation ;) Cutlers, even some today, use incredibly stinky horn and hoof glue that they set to bubbling away in an ancient pot! Horn itself smells badly enough, just from being polished! I remember bringing the 2017 Guardians run back from Sheffield, and waking up the next day to the stench of it! 😳😦😁
Sound advice my friend. Cheers buddy.

Handsome pipe Paul :)

I found these harvest-tide lights on my soundboard bench, where they don't belong, so I brought them home and dropped them somewhere they don't belong.
Made for a cool pic Jer
What a great weekend, thanks for taking us along! Although your tale of the Ring Road made me think of:
Frogger-RSCB.jpg
🤣🤣🤣

Thank you Michael. It is a special knife from a get guy. Doesn't get better than that in my book.

Jack had mentioned to me that they don't come up too much. Kinda just got lucky on that site. Thanks buddy.
I have one somewhere Paul, but mine has been absolutely ruined I'm afraid!

Great pic Michael, all the essentials there! :D :)
🤣🤣

And that made me think of this:

Brilliant! 🤣
Tonight we tried a new Mexican restaurant that opened near us a couple months ago. Seemed like a nice place, and it’s less than 5 minutes from our house, but the food was surprisingly bland. 🫤

Looks good mate, sorry about the bland food though, I hate it hen that happens :( Maybe you need to take a leaf out of peanutsxx peanutsxx 's book! :D ;)

But how are the Ritas??

We have a spot down the street that is a 5/10 but the drinks make it “palatable “

👍😃
LOL! :D

Good morning Guardians! :) Blimey, it's taken me an hour and a half to catch up! Hope everyone is having a great weekend :) I enjoyed my walk yesterday, but my ankles and Achilles tendons are hurting today. I had hoped I had recovered from spraining both ankles around Xmas :( As it's a 4-day holiday, I dare say it was carnage in the centre of Leeds last night! I had a couple of toasted hot cross buns for breakfast, got them from the market on Friday, much tastier than the ones from the supermarket :) No plans for today, except doing some spring-cleaning, if I get time ;) Have a good day Guardians

I would rather poke my own eye out with rusty wire than eat a Hot Cross bun from a supermarket.
LOL! :D The ones from the market are 3 times the size too! :D ;)

It's been a very long time since someone bought me a chocolate Easter Egg! So long I couldn't remember how to go about opening one! :D We used to roll them down the stairs when I was a kid, I just attacked mine with my Hartshead Barlow! 🤣 Just having a bit with my morning coffee ;)

I cannot eat Easter eggs, bad memories from my childhood, far too sickly sweet for me. These on the other hand are good, and great value for money from Aldi. I don't normally eat much chocolate but got these as an Easter treat. About 15 shillings Sterling, good value i think.

I have had them from Aldi here Leon, (along with the mint variety), but eat very little chocolate, mainly just dark chocolate, and limited to odd bars gifted to me. I did have a small piece of 'fruit 'n' nut' the other day though, which brought back childhood memories :) The easter egg is a bit sweet for me :D

2000 was a great year for automotive homicide.

I've had a couple boxes of Cadbury eggs recently, and I've got bloodwork this week for my checkup. I hope Dr. E. won't have too much to slap me around about.
With all my patient suffering this Easter, maybe I'll get a miracle.

When I was at secondary skool, I had a very snooty Geography teacher, who considered herself very cultured, and was constantly putting her class down for the uncultured peasants we almost certainly were  One day, mid-diatribe, one of my schoolmates put his hand up, and asked her if he hadn't seen her, and her boyfriend, coming out of Death Race 2000 at the cinema the previous weekend! I can still remember the shade of scarlet she went! 🤣

Good luck Jer :) I was bought a chocolate cake for my birthday, and an Easter egg. and am having to force them down! :D I've had a crown come out several times recently, the first time being when I was away on vacation at Xmas. The tooth underneath is sharp enough to cut my tongue, so I have had to repair it myself twice. The last time I was at my dentist, she told me to book an emergency appointment if it came out again, and she'd get me in the same day. I told her that the phone goes unanswered for days, so she gave me her email address, but it's come out Easter Sunday, and the surgery won't be open tomorrow as it's a public holiday!

Good to see Old Toffee Wings :)

Forgot to post this yesterday evening. Ethan helping me with a "Tool Man Special" burger!

View attachment 2146734
LOL! :D Tool Man would love that! :D I had a burger for lunch, but I didn't have any cheese or bacon in, so couldn't make my usual Greedy Burger! :D
Wow! Those are really cool pics Daniel  :)
