LOL!"I Can't Feel My Face" sounds just like something my son would try lol!
The "jig" on the dates goes along too!
I'm afraid it's not as it appears Michael, years ago that building housed one of the Leeds University Library, but after they located to a larger location, the old library was eventually sold off, and turned into a pub. Sadly, rather than a place you might sit in a large leather armchair, reading a book, while sipping a pint, it's somewhere when rowdy students chug jugs of soda-heavy 'cocktails' or low quality lager, with sticky furniture, and loud musicWhoa! Mind blown! A pint at the library in a comfy chair in a quiet, hidden corner?! It's too bad Americans don't read real books much any more (sad in and of itself) because there's a side-hustle idea lol.
Beautiful Lamb! You definitely have majestic libraries; Leeds is picturesque for sure. I had no idea pints were available, even if no good.

LOL!LOL. Tell R8shell I think it's buffalo horn but it may be some other kind of horn, not ram's horn but maybe ram's horn or perhaps some other kind of horn. I can say authoritatively it is definitely NOT bicycle horn.![]()
Really annoying when that happens!I quoted several others and "POOF!" They are gone.![]()

That's a cool-looking library BarrettThat’s a great name for a pub!Good looking building, too. It’s a shame the pub’s no good.
There’s a library in Northeast Minneapolis — the Pierre Bottineau Library — that is located in part of the old Grain Belt brewery. I may have to go check that one out some time. I’ve also never been to the Minneapolis Central Library, which is the largest of the 41 libraries in the Hennepin County Public Library system.
This one in St. Bonifacius, MN (just down the road from us) makes the small library we take the girls to look huge! The building used to be a bank, and has been used a library since the 1930s, but has only had indoor plumbing and central heat/air since 1987.

Nice to see your Hartshead Barlow palI think I may give the Albers a break tomorrow and put this one back in my pocket. (Old pic.)

LOL!I know of one weakness of the HHB: it's precious. (Sure, sure, hear that in poor Smeagol's voice if you want.) I have no doubt that this knife is up to hard work, but I don't want to work it hard because I can't run down to the local hardware store and replace it if I break it. We really really need to get Case to make lambsfoot knives, so we can have easily replaceable users. I do use the HHB, but for hard going I tend to want to baby it and use something replaceable. It's just too dang nice.

I can say that I have never had a 15th century castle to look at. We will walk to it after we get done with work.
View attachment 2155291Good morning Guardians it’s a beautiful morning here.
Because I keep it very sharp it works just fine! I basically cut off suckers on my trees.Ok...great coat on your lamb Jack. Question....are those dates ultra sweet?
A trusty lamb R8shell. What is in your garden?
Very nice pose of your lamb Bill
May I ask how it works compared to a pruner blade?
Ok...that's enough questions!!!
Thank you Jack. I awoke this morning and couldn't find my HHB. Semi-panic mode set in. Where did I leave it? I looked everywhere. Could find it. Finally went into the garage and checked the cars to see if it had fallen from my pocket whilst I was driving around town doing errands. Still no HHB. Then I pretty much gave up thinking it would turn up sooner or later or maybe the unthinkable happened - I just lost it and it's gone forever. Not so! I had played it down my workbench and it accidentally got covered by a rag. Whew! That was a close one. I haven't lost any of my knives that I have owned but I know I've misplaced one or two over the years but I've always found them. What a sick feeling in my stomach when I can't find a knife and then think the worst.LOL!Brilliant Rachel!
Looks like you've been carrying that one a fair bit

Enjoy using it Bill![]()

Good morning Guardians. Got some landscaping projects to do that will take me a few days to complete. When I was younger I could work from sun up to sun down in the yard but those days are over.Oh well, got my HHB with me again to help out.

Thanks Bob, maybe I'll carry it todayA couple of years back, my friend
Reaper AL sent six Sheffield Lambs to J jsdistin , who took them apart, re-built them, and replaced the covers with Giraffe Bone, Appaloosa, and African Blackwood. Al then kindly sent me three of them

LOL!Hard to believe it's a selling point!

There's a large upstairs 'gig room', and I went there about 10 years ago, with a music promoter, to inspect the venue, as I was doing security, and it has a wide staircase, with the original antique glazed tiles on the walls, and they regularly get smashed and/or prised off

LOL!Great pic Tyson
Well, I guess any knife can be damaged through abuse, but I have worked my Hartshead Barlow harder than any other pocket knife I have owned since I was a kid
I wouldn't worry too much

You're not kidding!Good afternoon Jack....it is a J. Nowell & Sons lamb. Someone got real aggressive with the sharpener.Blade is solid with plenty of snap.
Thanks for showing that fine lamb Jack.
The reprofile on your lamb worked out well, it seems Jack. Enjoy your evening. You're not kidding!I wondered if the tip on the original knife had maybe been damaged, which is what I think happened with this dramatically re-profiled Abram Brooksbank, which originally started as a Lambssfoot!
Thanks buddy

That must have been a terrible feeling Bill!I'm glad it turned up
Many years ago, I was house-sitting for some friends, and feeding their cat, when my pocketknife went missing. I spent the whole day searching for it, found all sorts of things down the back of their sofa, but not my knife! To cut a long story short, their cat had a magnetic collar to open the cat-flap, and it had picked up my knife, and carried it outside!
Thank you Steve![]()
